Chuck was something like 9/9/infinite or something like that at the time. I should also point out the utg limp was a misclick, but then chose not to 3 bet since that represent such a small range of premium hands, thus will probably only be called by queens+

Key notes, Chuck raised oop but could have been doing so just to pick up what looked to be dead money, Chuck has very little fold equity based on bounty

is noone even going to consider folding? remember chuck has a $43 i think? bounty on his head, so therefore knows he has very very little fold equity and certaintly cant bluff there

Overpair to the board, the potential of a $43 payoff, and the fact that we are getting insane pot odds make me want to try to hit a J on the river, lol.

Of course Chuck knows he is giving you those pot odds, but they are like 3580:955 (more than 3.5:1!!!). Very tough though as the 'what do I beat' question draws a bit of a blank especially knowing the huge pot odds he was giving you. I dunno if Chuck plays A10 like this, probably not, maybe A10 of diamonds though? Knowing you know he has no fold equity is quite a big assumption and the pot odds offered to you make a semi-bluff look like a bad spot here but maybe two high diamonds. Meanwhile, he could have a bigger overpair expecting aggression from you (your stats?), he could have 55, pocket tens, not looking great there. Crying call spot by the looks of things, lol.

Pre-flop though you rule out 3-betting as calls are only coming from monsters but you don't have to shove to 3-bet. A re-raise to 800 here leaves a decent stack still behind that can fold to a shove. Also on the flop, why no raise? I try to protect my JJ against more overs and the flush draw and it is certainly a spot where Chuck can c-bet on that flop.

Good laydown if you make it I feel, but I dunno if I can.

the bounty represents to much of the prize pool not to call :)
never would I think that $43 would stop chuck from bluffing , he's a very good player and bluffing is part of the game at the right time in the right spot ,and he's probably very good at deciding when that is .

(your stats?)

20/13/2 i think

I think we can rule out underpairs to the ten instantly. I don't think he has a hand with a ten in that he is raising oop with. His range is likely TT+ or A,Kd surely, which we are crushed by. If i had queens its still a very tough call since we are only ahead of jacks, but i probably still call with queens since the bounty is worth the chance of him having jacks. But having jacks, we are only ahead of one hand in his range, and are only a 65/35 favourite over a,kd.

Yeah. Obviously a J/J vs J/J situation.

Unless you call... then his J's turn into K's.
