Hello, could someone tell me if this was a bad play by me even though I sucked him out? I was criticised for it in the observer chat afterwards but I personally don't think I did anything wrong calling his shove on the flop. If you believe I did then please say and explain why so I can try improve some more on my game.
I told him I think he played the hand so bad so kind of shouldn't be going mad at me for sucking him out and he should of shoved pre flop and I'd of never called in the BB to start with. I checked the BB and hit a pair, I bet out to see where I'm at and also thinking the short stack limping could well shove here with any over cards and I'm still holding a good over card to hit 2 pair if he shoved with A,rag or so on. So I bet out half pot and he shoves his remaining 1000k. I'm getting 2.5 odds on a board that doesn't really scare me in the slightest. I honestly thought he had maybe even hit a pair but actually thought he might of limped with connectors.
