$1.40 NL HE Bounty: bb call with j7 = trouble?

Well this is an example of a hand that gets me into some trouble regularly towards the bubble of tournaments. I know my table image is Tag. They've seen me ship it in the bb 77 preflop against the sb limp. So many people giving me a cheap look at the flop should I pay just to show that I'm not a passive player?

Am I priced in here to even make the call preflop? I often feel like I am but what do I do with this post flop?

And what about similar hand like qx or kx?

please please fold pre. Even if you're getting good pot odds, your M is 7 so you can't be giving away chips, you have an awful hand, you're out of position and you have very little implied odds, so just fold. As played, ehh... If we were heads-up I'd probably donk shove it, but 4-handed we ought to just check/fold, we're not getting called by worse ever.

I'd rather shove preflop than call.

Thanks for your inputs. I knew folding was the right play but for one bb it just makes me feel passive but I suppose wait a hand or two and shove with first in vigorish and something decent.
