Would love to hear what people think of the way I played this, the guy was very loose and I truly thought I was well in front as I knew he didn't have AK - with his draws do you think it was a smart idea going all in?

fold pre-flop, both times. What is your raise pre-flop accomplishing? All you're doing is creating a big pot with a very marginal hand. You don't collect value from anything worse. I wouldn't even limp this, maybe if it were suited I would, but still, at t25/t50 it's probably a fold even suited. And I know his 3-bet is a min-reraise, but again, what are you ahead of? You have no implied odds, so just muck it.

The flop seems pretty like a good place to get all-in, though.

Oh, and I'd probably move out of the $1.20's, the rake down there is horrible

This accomplishes everything I wanted to say.
The raise pre is horrible due to the fact there are many limpers who will probably call, you'll be playing a multi-way pot with a very marginal hand. It can only end in disaster.

Cheers guys, much appreciated! After some reflection time I actually have no #$@$@ clue why I was even in this hand at all, have a feeling I may have been somewhat tilted from a bad beat in the previous SNG... Thanks for the advice!

Anyway - back to the tables!

You know I don't mind a limp pre but get out of the way of any raises. As played it's one of the better flops for QT so getting it in is fine, even though I expect villain to show up here with at least a pair and OESD/gutshot (AJ/AQ/KQ) here aswell as maybe QJ as this is the 1.20 level nothing can be discounted, i think we can include 99 aswell.

I have discarded, AK, AA-TT as AA,KK, AK 3-bet larger pre and TT-QQ are unlikely

Also I'd suggest moving up to the $2.25's on Tilt, the play is not any different and the rake is just so much better. You are really killing yourself with 20% rake :( so even if it's a little bit risky in terms of BRM, I still suggest it, just because that rake is so bad for your ROI, like a ~7% difference. No joke.

But yeah, please post more hands, welcome to CC :D

Yeah i'm only playing the $1.20's while I'm getting a feel for solid SNG play again, went a bit bonkers trying things out over the last few months and am only just coming back into the wins. Probably going to make a deposit next payday to get myself a decent $2.25 BR and then i'll let you know how I go!
