I probably just shove over the top to isolate. As played, looks good.

Ditto ^^^^, shove preflop to isolate and this hand illustrates why. You needed to hit one of your 8 outs on the river. Your small preflop raise let the BB see a cheap flop with trash and he almost sunk ya.

Seems like you played it well. I would have checked the turn also since he called my c=bet with a Queen on the board

played it fine. hes cleary a donk playing 10 5. Just a question, would u have called if a J did not hit the river

Well you played it good in my opinion.. only 1 overcard, Cbetting flop, check turn for potcontrol and river was an easy call
