I think checking the turn would be better, the only worse hands that may call a bet are flush draws and a lot of those would have bet the flop. As played just fold it.

Fold.

Your turn bet is fine here, you want to take away your opponents equity here rather than give them the initiative or a free card. When you get raised, you're never ahead unless he has a hand like QJ.

With your size stack turn need only pot control, if you bet already need call this shove, because very good pot-odds and villain very often will have trips or overpairs.

Here was my thinking...

Villain is super-aggressive post flop but has checked back on this board. I expected him to bet with pretty much any hand that he would have limped pre-flop. Certainly don't think he has the discipline to check a 9 and can't see him limping TT+ pre so am ruling out overpairs. Also think he would bet any two overcards here once I check so am putting him on either a small PP or suited connectors like 76 (not hearts) when he checks back.

Turn - I think I am betting for value here and am looking for a call from the hands I think he has. When he shoves I tank for as long as I am allowed but can't shift my assessment of what hands he is likely to have and, ultimately, if I fold I have less than 6BB left so I stick the rest of my chips in.

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what villain holds?
