He had the worst season possible and it might be the last tournament where he can save it! I think he deserves a chance but I don't expect him to be anything near good.

I'd leave Tiger out, he's not that great anymore.

The controversy from his marriage has disrupted his skill on the golf course.

I would take a pass on him this year. It would go a long way in his come back.

Now that his wife has officially divorced him, this will place more stress on Tiger till the end of the season. Look for Woods to bounce back on next season's play. Hopefully by then, he may have his mindset back and qualify for the Ryder Cup team.

Very silly question. Lets be honest, he is the best out there. Why bring personal issues into sport? I hate that!

He was always going to be picked, but he shouldn't have been because he simply isn't playing well at the moment. Frankly, as a European I'm glad he's been picked. No doubt, he will transform into the old Tiger again whilst in Wales, but I guess that's how it goes.

He was showing a little of the old Tiger at the last tournament. two rounds in the 60's. He also plays those old european courses very well. I don't think you could NOT pick him. And this is a different type of tournament also. Team play. Don't you think he'll come to this tournament with a little different mindset also?

Yeah I think its all or nothing, max points for him or just the worst he has ever played, Ryder cup has never been his favourite competition

He also plays those old european courses very well

The course is less than 15 years old and european courses vary quite a lot depending on which part of Europe you're talking about. I think Wales has a lot of different types of courses

good for the fans, good for TV. If he's lucky, he might split a point, otherwise a no hope.
