For the avoidance of doubt, a maximum of one (1) 57-Game Hitting Streak Prize will be awarded for the entire Contest.

If no participant achieves a 57-game hitting streak or greater during the Contest Period, as determined by MLBAM, the eligible participant with the longest hitting streak greater than or equal to twenty (20) will win ten thousand dollars (US $10,000) (the "Grand Prize").

I'm pretty sure the prize was only $1 million or less a couple years ago but then they realized how ridiculous it is to actually get to 57 and upped the prize.

Personally I'm more of a Streak for the Cash kind of guy on ESPN because you only have to compete against other people and someone wins $50k every month.
