1) Regular rake
2) BBJ rake
3) Beast rake

BBJ/BEAST rake does not fully go back to the players. The site keeps 5%...

Nope

There's always a way. ;)
Nope. I made an account on Carbon with my old address in Kansas, and they closed my account two weeks later, because my "Ping" is in Missouri. I was able to play free rolls for about a week, and I had one dollar in my account and they locked me out for security reasons. So there is most definitely not always a way.

k, so how much is that total?

Wow, seriously?

There's still regular tables but here's my numbers from when i first started after the switch over from Merge to Winning.

5c/10c if the SB limps into the BB = 20c / pot = 9c rake =11c (55%)
NEVER DO THIS if you take it with a bet post flop here you won't get back what you put into it.

if button raises 3x + SB folds + BB calls = 65c / pot =52c rake = 13 (20%)

10c/25c limpers from CO to BB (4) = $1 / pot = 70c rake = 30c (30%)

The rake was confusing but it was apparent that it tapered off as more BBs went in to the pot pre-flop and the rake is/was 5.15% post-flop.
I played for a while then left BCP but I just tightened up my range and generally tightened up some and always 3x pre any hand played.

That's sad to hear, it has worked well so far for one of my group members from KY. Have you tried Poker Dominicano yet? We have started another affiliate group there now, young site low traffic but enough fish to win some money.

I play there sometimes. i think all in all not bad, but sometimes I get sitout there cos there's no sound about getting out of time (when I play on many tables). Ipoker, PS, FT etc all rooms have some kind of warning. But that's all.
Deposit/Withdraw fast, so I think it can be an option for US players. :)

k, so I did some digging around. Looks like the BBJ fee is capped at 0.25 and then there's (as far as I can tell) no rake for the Beast jackpot -- it's a rake points system.

So, it's not that bad. Especially when you get up to like 50NL and up and the jackpot tables are still full of gamblers donating to your bottom line.

I understand that it is a good place to play for U.S. players due to the fast cashouts. It just seems like the stakes played on their are small. In my opinion they dont have a lot of traffic at 1/2 and things like that. It is probably me just complaining since fulltilt and poker stars are gone.

New Update on Cash out speeds

Alright gang, so I did some research, and this is the most recent piece of collected information that I could find on U.S. poker sites and cash outs.
http://www.rakeback.com/articles/us-cashout-report/
Now, I know that the Winning Poker Network doesn't have the greatest MTTs, but I think there is some money to be made here. At least if you do make money you know that you'll be able to have the cash within a few days on a debit card. It's like working for a temp agency :D. Take this information however you want too, but my money is going to the Winning Poker Network in the near future. I will also try Bovada once I get enough to make a deposit there too. Well let's hear your comments gang. Let me know what you make of all this.

From what I understand you have to be a citizen to play online in Canada. Also I heard that people were trying to get citizenship and they were denied because they didn't want people to move there just to play poker

The fees are probably pretty standard for a prepaid debit card. There's a monthly fee of $5 or less, and then ATM fees, but as long as you withdrawal the max out of the ATM each time you'll keep those costs at a minimum. Honestly I believe it would be about $20 in fees to get $2,000 cash, and that's acceptable to me. Now, let's talk about the SSN. Does all the money that one gets on the card get reported to the IRS? Now, I'm not completely trying to dodge them, but I really don't want them in all of my business.

No online poker site reports to the IRS. That's on you.

Providing SSN and DL is standard across most poker sites for withdrawals. And if you deposited with a credit card, some will require you to also send a photocopy of the front/back of the credit card. It's the price you pay to play, and as long as you're dealing with the honorable skins it's nothing to really worry about. In this day and age you can't do any sort of financial transaction without SSN and ID anyway, and they already have your CC info if they wanted to steal it.
