What happened to Sportsbook Poker?

I'm new to the forum but I was looking into what happened with Sportsbook poker site. I like to play there because the guarantees are pretty decent (better than bodog's) and the fields are usually pretty soft and you don't have the size tourneys like you get on tilt and stars. I think the site was a happy middle ground which I enjoyed.

Anyway, they redid the software which I think sucks, but that's beside the point. After playing for a day, I realized they dropped all the guarantees significantly. All the prizes are smaller. The biggest tourney you can enter, other than the ME sat is for 109 dollars. Anyone else notice this or notice why they did this? Bodog did the same thing about 2 yrs back and thats what made me leave the site...

Sportsbook and PlayersOnly left the Cake network on April 15th and joined the Merge network. When you login to Sportsbook now, you are playing on the Merge network which has tournies that are way different than what you were use to at the Cake network.

Both SB and PO were a little sleazy with their move to the new network. Their conversion rate for gold cards and gold chips was a complete joke. If you liked the Cake network, you can sign up at the main Cake site and they will honor the gold chips and gold cards that you had before the switch was made. Just contact Cake support and they will hook you up.
