I enjoy playing there. I like that it supports WI usa players. I've cashed out with no issues.

I've never tried cashing out at ACR, but might later this month. I'm a usa player too (not WI though). Just curious what cashout method you used with no problems. I know ACR preferred cashout method is bitcoin, but I'd rather stay away from that at all costs if possible.

What other options are available that have good results?

I can't play there, not allowed n where i live but i play on PokerKing, the same network. I think it is beautiful... for example there is a 500 gtd tournament for only 27 cent entry.. and to be honest, much less bad beats. There is only one disadvatage of it for me and that is late registrations.. some of them are 4 or more hours.. But generally yes.. it is good

ACR is the best site for American players of all levels, who can not play on poker stars. hands down the best.

I've cashed out numerous times, every time bitcoin withdrawal. Its fast and easy. I get the money in my wallet thingie in under 24 hours, usually within just a couple hours.

They do offer several other methods as well - including check, but thy charge for it I think?

Why do you prefer cash out methods other than bitcoin?

Too many things have added up to the point where I don't like ACR anymore. I will list now just for fun.

-Have to use crypto currency which makes me have to pay fee's to withdraw through crypto traders or bitcoin ATM's, diminishing my winnings
-Hidden names diminishes the edge you can push against super noobs
-A lot of botting. Only positive, is that all sites have bots, and ACRs is the only one to give me cash back for having a bot at my table (so ty ACR for that).
-Site seems to get DDOS'd a lot and sometimes can cost you money on the table.
-Site could be closed down at any time and your money will be gone.

So for those reasons, I would recommend not playing on ACR. However there rake system as you move up stakes is pretty good.

I remember a brazilian guy who won 'The Venom' tournament for million bucks few years ago. However, I don't like the software that much.

I dislike it. First of all, I couldn't verify my account there and probably due to that, I don't have some of the deposit/withdrawal methods. Second of all, I hate the long regestration period there. And the third reason that their software is works poorly for me. It always downloading a 120mb update before starting the client.

I like this room. One thing is bad - there are few withdrawal methods.

Love the amount of freerolls, and micro stakes, and ability to hit a big win with a small buy in ($50K for $16.50, or $10K for %6.60). I hate the the long re-enter periods or late regs, but you cant have everything

Genuine question - What other sites offer alternate withdrawal methods without a fee?

-Hidden names diminishes the edge you can push against super noobs
Can you elaborate on this, hidden names? Its pretty easy to slap a note on a player - and that note sticks with that player forever. ignition hides players names - not ACR.

-Site seems to get DDOS'd a lot and sometimes can cost you money on the table.
When is the last time you know of this happening? 4 years ago?

-Site could be closed down at any time and your money will be gone.
True - for every unregulated site - that is why good bankroll management is key to protecting your earnings. Don't keep 10k on the site - keep it in a secured location where you can transfer a portion onto the site when you want to play.

Hidden names works like this.

When you open up a cash table to play (excludes Blitz), you will not see who's playing in the game and how large each person's stack is UNTIL you post the Big Blind. This way it keeps the bumhunters from preying on tables of known players (for them) that are marks.

You still get to keep ALL notes you've ever made on a player. That functionality remains unchanged.

This is what it looks like (I highlighted one player in the white box to illustrate what your view will look like). That popup box will appear when you open the table, though you have the option to not have that popup show ever again, by clicking "Don't show this message again" then click the "OK" button.

Hopefully this helps answer your question.

ACR is a good site to play on. The tricky algos still exists. I have seen many times before and after the change, a number of really good players get knocked out by some crap hand. Lots of times when the villain has a larger bank.

The name unknown does not bother me. It is how each plays that counts to me.

Here's my beef: When I see three players having AA-KK-QQ at the same time (for example), It appears to be algo elimination. It seems to be more frequent on ACR. I play other sites and it does not seem to occur as often.

and speaking of crap hands...I may be full of that too. It is one of America's best choices.

Cheers!

Does anyone play there? It's good?

The Freerolls there are insane! It’s shove or fold almost every hand. And it doesn’t matter if you wait for good cards. Good cards get called down with stuff like 3-7 or K-5 and they suck out 90 percent of the time. You can’t really expect the best poker in a freeroll anyway but even the play money cash game players on wsop s App play better than this all in routine which plagues almost every hand no matter what you have. It’s a lottery !

Hidden names works like this.

Thanks for clarifying Shum. So this is an exclusive 'feature' for the very first hand of a cash game. Thanks - good to know.
This however is not how it is in tourneys.

And now we ALL know I'm telling the truth when i say - I don't play cash games. :D:D:D

That's correct. The names are hidden until you post a big blind, then you'll see their names and stack sizes, and also yes, it's only for cash games, not for tournaments.

I play in Americas Cardroom, I can say that I really like the interface . Reliable in terms of conclusions . A very interesting audience of American players . There are also a lot of solid freerolls at any time of the day . I think I'll stay in it for a long time

I enjoy the tournament setup. It makes it easy to take a break from cash tables, yet play entertaining and affordable buy-ins. The abundance of players opens up the opportunity to play just about any style of tournament you like. Lastly I have noticed their aren't as many bad-beats driving action like the other sites I play. It seems like when you have the nuts at the turn seldom does the river rat win. Anyway, I encourage you to play the freerolls first and ease into the cash games. At any rate, learn everyday and continue to have fun!

I think it is a very good platform, it is a pity that it does not have much facility to deposit, at least in the country where I reside:deal:

Its OK - all the same positives and negatives as any other site, some strange hands get dealt but that seems to be the norm at every poker site

I started playing on ACR last month and love it as much as Poker Stars. What site do you play on?
I used to play on poker stars almost 10 years ago. I had problem with a cash-out and deleted my account in haste. They tell me I can't start another account, because of what happened. From what I remember the cash games were full of action. I had $1000 nights and made quick runs on the cash tables. My tournament game has really improved lately and this is why I love ACR. The variety of tournaments on America's Cardroom site keep me busy for a long time and get me the most bang for my buck. Thanks for sharing!:cool::cool::cool::cool:

I hate the software and the graphic design/ layout, but the player pool is soft both for cash game and mtt. That is, compared to european focused sites like party.
