Just send them the info they want and get your money. Its not a big deal. What do you have against giving this info out to them if you're legit? You're acting like they're singling you out from other players for some reason.

This is how every poker site works and I personally like that they do this, it cracks down on multi-accounters and cheaters.

I would like to make it known that I have withdrawn over 3K+ this year from titan and have had no problem with support etc. The site is legit and I know of very few/no people who have had real withdrawal problems that were not brought about by their own action.

Granted, their software is tilting and slow and I ****ing hate the site but they operate properly.

Just curious as you stated you withdrew 3+K were they above the $200 at a time or were they below that? I only ask because OP stated he tried to take out $155..

As for the OP I can only state that I personally have had my problems with the site for a different reason and as Marginal has stated this problem was in-deed brought upon by me (I'm not implying you brought your problem upon yourself), just stating that maybe the site feels you did (Something wrong)...I wish you the best in receiving your funds and not to stress over $155 because lets be real (Your money is chump change compared to the rake these sites make)...

Once again just calm down and ask in a polite manner what they require of you, and do as they ask because in the end this is all to protect the players in the end of the day

Obviously Titan have like many other sites a minimum per way of transaction. It's normal, not like they are scamming you of a meazly amount lol.

It's most likely 200dollars for a check, usually is MORE for a check because of the hassel/postage/paperwork they have to do so encourage people to use alternative method, like the bank which is straight forward and you CAN withdraw 150.

Just send the I.D to them, what is the issue? ... Seems odd to me kicking up a fuss.

This is most likely the case as Marginal has stated 2 checks both over $200 and yours was $150 this is most likely the case...Just calm down and get your money right:)

most poker sites ask for picture id, i've never had problems after giving titan my passport details and they've always approved my withdrawals so just give them some sort of id and you should be fine

As part of our security process, we require a valid photo identification (e.g. passport or driving license).
...

In the event that the address present on your identification document differs from the address registered in your account, you will need to provide us with a utility bill or a bank statement displaying the registered address.
...

This sounds like a RIDICULOUS demand. Send me a check instead.

This is where your problem lies

Their request is reasonable and the normal procedure on all sites
Your response is ridiculous

Nail, meet head.

I actually felt a bit dumber after reading his posts...

As for the OP, are you still in correspondence with Titan over this? Maybe to help build some credibility you should post some emails with their responses and lay out what steps you have taken and how effective they were.

Unless your correspondence looks like what we got from TheyGotMe. If they do, god help us all....

I dont play on Titan as Iam in the states. Very simple. There check option is most likely $200 or more per withdrawal and you have to supply the necessary identifications per the TOS when u signed up. Suck it up and ask the mods to delete your ridiculous thread. End of thread/

While this is true for the whiny hijacker, the OP seems to have the basis of a possibly maybe could be plausible complaint.

Titan Poker scammed me. I played Jackpot sitngos almost exclusively 12 player about $2 buyin tournies. I played loads and loads with a free $50 from pokerstrategy. Eventually I dribbled the whole lot away and I never, ever won the Jackpot. What a scam!

I have made several withdrawals from Titan with no problems.

Just send them the ID. I don`t see why it would be a problem. unless you are under age or have given a false address or something.

Dear [name omitted],

This is Maijie from the Titan Poker Support Team.

The minimum withdrawal allowed via PaperCheck is CAD200.00. We suggest that
you just request for another withdrawal via Local Bank Transfer as we will
still request for documents regardless of the payment method that you will
use.

We already explained to you that what we are requesting from you is legal and
within what is prescribed by our poker room.

As stated in the terms and condition: "7.5 You shall provide us with all
information requested by us and necessary for the operation of the Player
Account, including, but not limited to, proof of identity, notarized
documentation, proof of address, utility bills, bank details, bank statements
and bank references. You shall provide us with any such requested documents
immediately upon request and not later than within a reasonable time of
response."

Your cooperation and understanding is highly appreciated.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact
the Titan Poker Support Team. We are available 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week.

With best regards,

Titan Poker

What boggles my mind is that you folks seem to be having a great deal of difficulty in refunding funds from the EXACT SAME BANK ACCOUNT from which they were initially transferred into your site... HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? You require "I.D." and "PROOF" that I am the same person who funded the account when I want funds transferred back to the SAME BANK ACCOUNT??? Does that make ANY SENSE to you?

Hello [name omitted],

This is Rica from the Titan Poker Support Team.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the request for documentation.
However, we are confident that you recognize how important this is for the
safety of your assets. These papers are requested for security purposes only.
Once we receive legible copies, you will not be required to send this
information again.

Moreover, deposits are instant because we want you to play immediately. When
you make a deposit, it means that you want to play so we don't want you to
wait longer. Please understand that even though it is reflected in your
account right away, it takes some time for the poker room to receive the funds
due to a long processing cycle.

For withdrawals, we are forced to follow certain procedures which take the
processing a while longer. In addition, we want to protect our players’
interests by means of verifying that all withdrawal requests are legitimate
and that we are sending the funds to the right person.

Let me assure you that we are doing all of these to make our players get the
safest transactions online.

Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact
the Titan Poker Support Team. We are available 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week.

With best regards,

Titan Poker

Wow that sounds ridiculous to not pay out a jackpot. Either you were cheating because I find it odd that you won the jackpot like 10 times? Thats rare or that the support team is a scam and dont want to pay out there customers. Thank god I live in the US and I cant play there! Sounds like a big scam.

Dude they explained to you the min is $200 dollars by check and that you need to prove that you are who you say you are, now stop ****ing crying and accusing this site that they are indeed at fault when it's your own fault in the 1st place for not looking through there TOS+funding your poker habits at this site, come on lets be real

Very good question, all these questions+them asking you for this info+them stating to you that it's all with in legal boundaries and you still not being forth coming with your I.D is not looking good for you...Truth be told this is actually making you seem like your underage...More or less your being suspicious

This is the problem I have, Titan is a legitimate site yet post like the OP which have no basis put it in a bad light without supplying all the information and hence mislead people.

Titan is a reputable site .

I wish some withdrawal options were only $200 withdrawals and no charges. I have $200 on each, Cake, AllInPoker, and PowerPoker. The minimum check withdrawal is $500.
I have a few that charge $15 a withdrawal, and some that think they are your partners and want 10 percent of what you withdraw for their fees. Quite the racket, but that is why these money shops are around.

This. To the other guy, the min. cashout is plainly $200. Yes, that sucks if you want to cash out less, but guess what? You probably should have read their deposit/cashout criteria before you ever put a dime on the site. All that information is readily available to you if you just look.

As for OP, he started this thread a year ago, and hasn't come back to update, so what do you think that means?

Just to be fair...there should be a warning when you try deposit to any of these sites with restrictive withdraw features (like need $500 to get check, charge $15 to w/d, min w/d amount, etc). Not every random person who tries to play online poker is bungling around thinking he has to look up exact withdraw procedures and/or unruly charges. For those of us who regularly play, it is reality these sites rip us off in this way, but to an average donkey just wanting to try the online stuff, logic would not dictate that you could deposit $20 but they have a $200 min w/d feature, etc etc and I can sympathize that many are pissed who find out after it is too late.
