First off, I'd like to apologize for the extended absence from this thread over the past few months. My responsibilities at
pokerstars have changed so that I'm unfortunately no longer able to provide forum support here going forward. The feedback in this thread over the past six years has been greatly appreciated and hopefully, up until a few months ago, I was able to help with some of your questions. Because I can't continue to act as a forum rep, I will reach out to the mods and let them decide whether they wish to re-purpose this thread under a different name as a general PokerStars discussion thread, or whether it's best simply lock the thread to prevent confusion.
In the timebeing, I noticed a few questions that I can chime in on (one last time), so some comments below. Thanks again for letting me be a part of the CardsChat community, and good luck at the tables!
Can't send a PM so I will ask it here. If I am a dual citizen (american/iraqi-i'm kurdish not iraqi) will I have issues registering a account on pokerstars? Or since I live out of the US it won't be a issue?
If you live in a country where PokerStars can offer its
real money services, then your citizenship shouldn't be an issue when creating an account.

You are welcome to request a UserID change by emailing Support. Generally speaking, they are rarely given, especially if you have played a significant amount of volume (and consequently have developed some history with your current UserID). However if there is a legitimate problem with your current UserID and you haven't developed much of a history, your chances are much better.
That is good to know, I go to Jersey quite often, Wildwood and Ocean City primarily. Out of curiosity, where would I be able to play the PSNJ on the interface? Would anyone happen to know? Thank you.
You can create a PokerStarsNJ account even when outside of
New Jersey, that way it will be setup, verified, and waiting for you when you are physically located in New Jersey. Hope that helps.
What is the point in the list of observers? I don't see how it reaches ???
Observer count is meant to give an indication of "the Rail" on any given game/pool.
Can someone tell me how you can see mucked cards on PokerStars after a hand is over? People have told me they can see my mucked cards, but I don't know how it is done.
Mucked cards can be seen in the hand replayer which you can launch from the Desktop table. That information will also be included in any hand histories.
Maybe sending them multiple emails pushes you down in priority? If there was a rep here I'm sure he could tell you
I would advise against sending multiple emails (on the same topic) within a 24 hour period. Sending multiple emails could slow down your response as Support will have to consolidate the emails into one 'case' before answering and could, depending on the email content themselves, cause some confusion.

Hello PS support (and Chatters who watch here), I have a question which I'm hoping can be answered faster here than through PS itself.
I have a $US account in Canada with money in it. In my PS account I have USD as my preferred currency, and the USD tab open when I hit the Cashier button. I click on the eCheque option, and the default deposit currency is $CAN. I don't see any way to change that.
While PS's exchange rates are favourable, I'd still like to avoid conversion fees by depositing in $US. Can I not deposit $US from a USD account in Canada? What am I missing, please?
eCheque you wouldn't be able to, but taking a quick look at Canadian options it appears that
entropay and
instadebit offer USD as an option, in which case using one of those methods would help avoid any conversion fees.

I'm having problems playing the Deal Jackpot game on my main computer. It crashes the whole client when I try to play it.
I have the same problem on FullTilt. I suspect it is due to an OpenGL command that my graphic card can not handle. I have 2 graphic cards: one integrated in the motherboard and one Nvidia. (2 monitors are attached to each card)
We had performance issues with the Deal when it first launched, but they should now be resolved and shouldn't be causing the client to crash.
4 times now in this holiday season, I have been a split pot winner and ended up losing money. We were all in for between 8 and 10 dollars. We both ended up losing 8 cents each at a 2-5 table. Surely, there is some way to not punish a pot winner.
Split pots are raked like other pots, but I've passed your feedback on.
What happened to the poker cash giveaway tourneys? I have a bunch of tickets I got through a deposit code and daily challenges that need to be used before they expire. I can't seem to find the usual fore tourneys any where. Is it just me or are they gone?
Poker Cash Giveaway tournaments no longer exist and the last one ran on January 31st, however we still offer a weekly $2,500 BronzeStar VIP Tournament which costs 7 StarsCoin to enter and a $10,000 Weekly ChromeStar Freeroll. Additionally, we also give away over $155,000 every month on VIP Super Saturdays in the various VIP Status tournaments (the last Saturday of the month).

i pick colors from the pallet for the Felts which there are 12 boxes i believe , it wud be nice that they are saved ,so each time i start the client i do not waste time creating my felt colors each time ,it is extremely frustrating ,when playing and stars crashes like wgen trying to plaay the deal,and you have 3=4 games going
