Many many years ago when I played on Pokerstars, there were obviously no "throwables". When I came back to PS after being gone for that long period I was shocked to see this. It seemed childish to me.

My question is do you use throwables? Do you think it effects peoples games? Do you have them disabled altogether?

Me myself, shortly after returning to PS I disabled my throwables. I just really couldn't understand the point of it.

Me too, I`m also disable it first, but after few month I put it back, and start using it to making bluffs and get opponents confused, it`s really funny

I do not use them often but I do like using them to express if I think someone had a good hand, good play or they are on fire with luck. Sometimes on a break a bunch of people at the table are just having fun and using them on each other. If they are a sign of immaturity, I’ll take it and play with them because I like to stay young at heart and have some fun :). They are a kinder and funnier way of expressing how your feeling without hurting someone with harmful words.

The throwables are just a bit of fun. As they say if you don't like it then let it run off you like water off a duck's back.

I use them all lol , actually never disable them, I believe you can take out your feelings by using them, some are to congratulate, some to express anger and frustration, some to distract, and you can also use them as a weapon to take some players out of their focus, believe me, it really works :D Regards.

I think it's a childish thing too.
At first I left to see if I could get extra information from it, but then I realized that the better player doesn’t use “throwables,” the weaker one can be recognized anyway.
When someone is constantly tossing these, it interferes with the game and is of no use, I think so.

Even though I don't find them harmful to my game, the throwables are still somewhat distracting as some people tend to go 'crazy' and spam them nonstop after an ugly hand or just because they can(a childish thing to do IMO- especially when you're not even involved in a hand)... So, I disabled my throwables as well...

GLGL all at the tables $$$

I also do not see the need for them, but I use it)) As soon as I sit down at the table, I immediately throw the raft at the third player on the left. It's kind of like my ritual for good luck.

Some like it, some don't, in any case, this function can be disabled. As for me, sometimes it's fun to throw different objects at someone, it all depends on the mood:)

I havent really used them but I had them activated until someone used it extensively in one tournament while throwing those gimmicks to everyone in a 2-3 second timeframe.

Then I disabled them after contacting support and I don't miss them at all.

I've disabled them and never turned them back on. I haven't seen the need to have them and I find them more of a distraction than anything else. I've enough distractions running around at home whilst I'm playing poker, I needn't add any more to the mix.

It just doesn't contribute much to the game but I'm not a judge of those who use disposable objects or not, I just go for the money but it serves as data to determine if they are sports lovers or want utilities

It does affect the discarded cards, but it is something that cannot be controlled, moreover, you do not know which ones are discarded and yet it is part of the probability.

I don't value these comedy actions very much. I like the technical game better, it would be much better to collect, tournament money, or even milestone than these funny dolls.

Utterly puerile. I always turn them off.
