Could you please explain about the VIP tournaments? Can you get in for free? I'm a Gold member.

you should go to the site pokerstars , the VIP section , I think there 'll explain it well , and if you can play them for free to certain tournaments

Does anybody know how you can collect more stars coins on Poker Stars? I think the more cash you lose, the more stars you collect. Is that correct? I lost 10 bucks in an all on and the line that showed how long I had to achieve my target got longer all of a sudden. Can you get closer to your target even when you don't lose that much?

I just can say that its true long time ago i wanted get a lot vpps and i lost a lot money for getting more vpps/fpps its so bad..

No tournaments are fixed vpp's for every 1.10 you get .5 vpp's, your finish has no baring on what you get. If you want to collect more vpp's per hour you need to multitable tourneys or play cash games

you can find your balance in the cashier under summery, scroll down under your play chips and you should see them...

Vpps are awarded for rake back taken by PS. and they convert to stars coins which are released at differen intervals based on your status. IE bronze star coins are released every 7 vpps Chrome every 45 and so on

Thanks. It just shows my starscoin balance there. So I'm assuming my stars coin balance is all that matters and I can't do anything with VPPs like I can with starscoin ?

no vpps just measure your progress. if you hover over your status bar it will show you what you currently have

Time is not important. The main amount of money you skip through cash tournaments or cash tables. The more cash you will put on the table the more you get of rake ,vpps and stars.

more star coins with the cash games than playing tournaments or sngs , and the steps help acquire more coins . Best way via zoom games , which there are not so good to play a decent poker game , but are very good for fast rake , and fast FPPS/starcoins .

This is poker is all about. bankroll. Play what you want if is what you want if not play reasonably with average of your bankroll. If you want to boost your vpp all the way with $20 in cash game you can. But raisonably I will be check in for 20 tournement of $2 before play hand in cash game. Thats my 2 cent. You earn VPPs depending on how much money you wager in cash games (no matter if you win or lose) or how big a Buy-In is.

You get a specific number of StarsCoin for every VPP you earn, depending which Star-Level you are.

Anyone know where to find the link to the pokerstars starscoin game it seems to have disappeared ? ???
Also I dont see any sign of the pokerstars starscoin jackpot game turning up . ?????

Also FYI earlier this month if you played a starscoin game within 24 hrs of the jackpot being hit you would receive a cut of a few dollars usually about 8 ....

Anyone know ?

Yes, and I noticed, probably another marketing improvement of the site. As well as the ability to place distributions on boom has disappeared. We also don't know what happened. Very sad

I've seen it disappear several times lately, only to reappear days later. I'm just guessing, but I think there has to be a certain amount of money, like a lottery, for the game to come back.

It's based on the rake you pay. Each $1 of rake earns points (VPP) towards a chest, which has a randomized reward. This would include starcoins, cash or game tickets.

Only way to play cash games like Zoom and 6+ with preflop allins and with reasonable cards, when you cashout get your money back and your target chest will get closer to you)
