I think, I have experienced it a few times playing cash, and then of course people just leave and come back to play another time. With tournaments its more annoying, since they have to be cancelled, but at least people get a refund, and it just is, what it is

I have experienced before, that the server had problems with very large tournaments causing them to play at the pace of a snail, until enough players had busted. Maybe this is, what happened to your 5.000$ freeroll for new players. Since it was a freeroll, its kind of whatever. But hopefully they make sure, this does not happen to their large paid tournaments like the MicroMillions main event, which ran last sunday

At least, they let you know that a tournament has been cancelled.

I have been with Party Poker since almost day 1, and even though they have improved, lately, they have still got to be the kings of technical problems.

I can't even count the number of tournaments that I've been in over the years, where tournaments have been paused, and you sit there for hours (literally), and no message has come up that due to technical problems, it has been cancelled. They just let you sit there, and wait, and wait, and wait.

You contact customer service, and they just sluff you off to there player agreement section, with no apologies.

Regarding poker stars, I certainly do not like the recent changes they have made, especially those damn popups that they stick in front of you, when you log in.
