Yesterday was not my first time when I FINALLY managed to be in a good mood and found some time and money to play my favorite poker. I was waiting whole week for the 5.50$ MicroMillions event and I was super frustrated when it turned out that there were some technical issues, and so we played about 4-5 hands in one hour (the most interesting thing is that the whole tournament is paused, but the blinds are raising every 10 minutes) and finally they announced that the tournament is cancelled. My god, it is not first time, seriously, they need to do something about this, I've had the same situation before and it was very unfortunate as well. At least we got our buy-in money back. What is your opinion about this?
You might not have lost you money, but you lost your time and mood. PokerStars can pretend it isn't their problem, beyond refunding you, but they are missing a trick here. Piss off the customer and they walk. It is bad business.
But Poker Stars has suffered a number of times, and their upgrades are getting buggy. I can no longer log into my mobile account as it constantly asks if I want to transfer. But I do not have any active sessions so there should be nothing to transfer. Click Yes...and nothing happens.
I've had several occasions in the past month where the whole table freezes and the network connection box comes up. And I know it is stars, because I had a VoIP chat going on with another person on Stars at the same time. He was knocked off PS too.
The mobile
App, before it stopped working altogether also was "upgraded" and lost significant functionality. The loss of the search functionality really sucks. I often want to search for a poker buddy and join a game they're in. This was axed from the mobile game. Stupid decision.
Companies must not forget that whilst they're fleecing the customer, the customer must remain happy about it. I'm just about ready to jump ship.
Cheers,
