PokerStars disappearing throwables

Because I've been in discussion with PokerStars support about the issue for over a month?

It was an error.

Some players (like myself) have lost the ability to use throwables which were legitimately 'unlocked' via their 'challenges'.

This isn't something Stars decided to do.

The software has broken and they either are struggling to fix it or are not prioritising it as something which needs to be fixed urgently.

So suckers like myself who wasted BR on unlocking these ridiculous gimmicks basically threw money away for items which we were told would be available to us after completing related challenges.

Then PS should reward people that lost the ability to use throwballs. I personally disabled it but I can understand your point. I would ask for a refund if I would have to invest in such and then can't use it.

I myself only use them very seldom but had seen that there were fewer which are exactly gone, I don't know but that doesn't bother me so much because I didn't play for it on purpose. But I can understand that people who played extra to get them are annoyed when they are gone now

Out of interest, do you play on the PC platform or Android/iOS mobile?

I prefer the PC interface, although I use both. I wish we had the old ugly android App. It was far more functional. I can't even do a normal rebuy on the android app until I bust...which is stupid -- especially for PS freerolls. Also lost the search functionality so cannot observe games on phone anymore.
Every step forward with PS has included two steps back.
Their Wednesday's surprise server maintenance is also frustrating.
I'm now considering moving to other platforms. Stars just isn't all that for UK games.

Feel your pain on the Android app, the old app was just so much more functional. For example it is now impossible to spectate in league now as cant search player anymore and if you are playing when you bust it insta closes your table. Only minor things of course but a little annoying at times.

I have lost then regained throwables as well. Most of my games are with my friends, some of whom have a whole load of different throwables.
Not my favourite addition to the game, but does provide a shortcut way of commenting on an opponent's hand, game, actions.
If they removed them altogether I would not miss them.
Those who paid for them through challenges definitely deserve compensation.
Maybe we need a group complaint to PS support from CC, suggesting a boycott of the site till the issue is fixed? I would be happy to support such a protest.

I disabled these items as soon as they appeared !!! pokerstars clearly lost this race to GGpoker, with their cool and in no way interfering with the gameplay emoticons !!!
It would be better to update the existing emoticons, the appearance of which for some reason has never been updated !!!
But in fairness, I want to say that I would do the same and write to the support service with a request to correct the error of the service for which I paid money and time !!!
