Since I don't play a lot of hold'em, PokerStars is tops because it has many more variants -- 5-Card Draw, 2-7 triple draw, 2-7 single draw, Stud, Stud8 and Razz
Not only that but good traffic in all of them.

I like 888 for all the freerolls and promos -- best of the online world IMO

PokerStars is a must have since year 2000. On the other hand, at ACR are less players so it's easier to finish in the money and it doesn't take much time. For the difference take a look at PokerMatch.

The only professional poker site for me is PokerStars. Sure, sometimes the software is horrable for a prof, ´cause much too often it´s feeding fishes by the river, but usually you can play so various and quickly getting better and better. The other providers are just cheap copies of PokerStars in my eyes and will never reach the comfort of playin´like there. Bad thing I´d say is the comprehension with the casino software, I just lost too much through this after winning in Poker ..

Pokerstars by far is in a class by itself , you can have 1 million $ there and slppe well at night! Not so sure about 888poker or ACR. I agree that the games are very tough at pokerstars but you have the chance to make a life changing win if you are lucky
