PokerStars 7 (PokerStars 6 is retiring soon)

Using it for the past 2 months now, then it was called "Alpha", design is definitely improved compared to 6. Looks great actually, much cleaner.

Easier to find tables for cash games.
You can list your favorite tournaments that you play frequently and it will list all these tournaments together so you don't have to keep waste time finding them changing tabs for low, medium and high buyin tournaments.

Now the only thing left to add are US players. Hope there is some good news by the end of this year or early next year.

pokerstar 7 do you like it?

I am forced to update into pokerstar 7 clients.
but honest to say.
i don't like almost everything in stars 7.

First the design is more like a cellphone version clients
the home game button is too small
the playmoney option is too small hard to find.
the playmoney cash regular table and Zoom table is mixed , and all messed up.

the new game lobby design is horrible...
country is being replaced to national flags.... that is horrible.
well, if I want to know where is player from some unknow European countries, I need to check and find the flags not google their country names...

the setting button shrinks to hardly to find...
if want to change some settings it is pretty worse for me to find where they are, than using to click the settings from sub menu.

and because the news section, think 32bit adobe flash player is not working so well with 64 bit windows system.
the lobby and table frozen more often that .... old version.

Design is much better,for flags you search in google? You should go back to school and watch on classes... untill u do that hold mouse pointer on flag for 1 sec and you should see it....
Game lobby you can put in setting to be like old one....

I have tried it Just like any new update of a program you have to find the new buttons and get use to it...( oh how I hate changes) If it is not broken then why fix it ???

pokerstars has new software? good for them. always ahead of the curve. pokerstars already has the best software and there still looking to improve, thumbs up. ps should also improve ftp software its not that good

For me it is NOT inerface User friendly update.
and
My old clients is customized version.-- my customized version is much better than the new version, for me.

it brings me NOTHING but big trouble to set up from the very beginning.

i use PS7 and new version is the great improvement of the best software.
Well designed, easy to use with more visible options this new styling will be the new standard for poker rooms

We had to update to Beta 7 to fit the screen properly.
6 seem to cut off the bottom of a few windows, including the cashier screen.

So we are looking forward to getting the new version.

tried it and immediately hated it
slow. freezes often, what never happened with 6. Tourney filters have some bugs, so that some tourneys, that should be showing aren't sometimes.
Went back to 6 and won't go to 7 if they don't force me.

Betas shouldn't even be integrated in online poker.When I launch any poker software I expect it to work flawlessly and not be bothered with some bugs that shouldn't even be there.If poker software developers didn't finish their software they simply can't publish it and let people point them out the flaws.Flaws that will eventually be fixed and in the meantime people will have problems with the bugs.This is common practice with all the video games developers,but this isn't Need For Speed World,Battlefield Heroes,nor Pangya,World of Warcraft or any other MMO game that once was in beta phase.No,this is online poker where people put their money on the line every time they play,so there really shouldn't be a place for beta,much less alpha,in online poker.

Man I hate this kind of changes too Even if its changed to something better, but I hate those first "contacts" when I have to get used to it, even if it lasts only few minutes Thats why I still didnt update it. Do you have any idea when it will be required for everybody?

The Pokerstars 7 looks really nice and swift, perhaps it's just that the old gui is preferred by most of the players as it has been tried and tested for years now. But still in my opinion 7 will be the future of PS gui hopefully it will be improved to be better than 6. 😊😊😊

I go to P/stars but only see hyper satellites in sng tab... is anyone else seeing this??? My filters are all normal

Pokerstars 7

I tried Pokerstars 7 about a month ago and didn't like it. Partly due to the fact that I'm so comfortable in the un-upgraded version. I was forced to upgrade today, and that's ok as I was expecting it, but I've just reverted back as knowing where everything is and how it works is better for me. What do other people think of Pokerstars 7? I'm sure if I was forced to use it I'd get used to it eventually but at the moment I don't want to spend time learning how to do stuff that I can do easily enough in my current settings.

poker stars is now finished Beta testing and is upgrading everyone within the next few days.

I am interested in others opinions.
I don't like change so I didn't change over but now it looks like it will eventually be mandatory. I will stick it out instead of opting back to 6'th.
I would like to hear both the positives and the negatives
