Exactly. How about showing just a bit of gratitude and writing something like "thank you very much pokerstars for many good years" instead? But I guess, it just goes to show, how freerolls have become an entitlement rather than a priviledge for some people. And as already stated, that is likely a big part of the reason why, they are going awayAnd then after eating free food at your store for MANY YEARS, they will take to Social Media and tell everyone that your store SUCKS and that you're going out of business. lol

And then on the weekend I played this huge freeroll where they gave out 47 tickets to the Sunday Million Anniv. game... and I WON!!!Well they are not the most generous, but it's not like they give nothing.
Yesterday, I sat down in the big blind at a cash table, folded, won a chest for paying 1c of rake and instead of the normal powerpath ticket I got an $11 MTT ticket. That was nice!
Who wants a free ticket for that game? Its way more important, that its no longer possible to min-cash for $0,65 after nitting it out for 2½ hours in a CC freerollAnd then on the weekend I played this huge freeroll where they gave out 47 tickets to the Sunday Million Anniv. game... and I WON!!!
Hey hey hey, the min-cash was always 1$, so that's 50% more!!!!!1111to min-cash for $0,65 after nitting it out for 2½ hours in a CC freeroll
Its been several years, since I was allowed to play freerolls on PokerStars. But I still remember some CC freerolls, where half the table was stalling, and the average stack got down to around 10BB, as the bubble approached. And I was like "seriously guys???" Apparently that dollar or whatever meant a lot to several forum membersHey hey hey, the min-cash was always 1$, so that's 50% more!!!!!1111
🤣
And absolutely nothing has changed. Actually things got worse. Some people were folding down to 0.01 BB and folding premiums near the bubble. Its been several years, since I was allowed to play freerolls on PokerStars. OMG What a sh1tty site that is! (... will they have another one of those soon?)View attachment 354721
Exactly this
You must have seen the lobby!
Really chuffed, and a very good freeroll prize from a site that 'gives us nothing anymore'
Maybe because the GG freerolls were only available to people, who had signed up to GG via an affiliate link? Which meant that a lot of forum members could not play them anyway. The general reaction to Pokerstars removing the CC freerolls has been way way more severe than when GG removed their CC freerolls.
Just an interesting observation.
I think this definitely can account for some of the reaction.....more so for the volume of reaction. My thought was more about the level of the reaction per person.....I just find it rather weird.Maybe because the GG freerolls were only available to people, who had signed up to GG via an affiliate link?
