Permanent ban from party poker

How can it? I have not been involved in gambling for almost 8 years

Honestly I never was worried about the money. But what really bothers me is the principal behind it and the way they went about it.

given the fact that you didn't play for 8 years makes their argument very weak...
sounds like a lame excuse not to pay.
partypoker is a mere shadow of its former self. used to be a cool pokeroom but that's over.
Loads of countries were banned cause they can't afford the taxes. offical reason was just like in your case "business decision" which could only mean we're broke AF.

Only way to get your money is a tedious lawsuit I'm afraid

I believe I opened the account and won my very first tournament for the 25k.

I recall opening my first account online - it was in 2007. I can tell you the month and I can tell you the exact game that I first played. I can also tell you exactly how much I won (I actually cashed in my first tourney online). For me it wasn't "I believe it was... " it just was. (maybe my memory is better than your's?). My first win was $114. And I can remember it to the dollar.

I'm not sure why so many in this thread are slighting Partypoker. My experience is that they've always been a very reputable site and for myself, customer support there has been far far better than any other poker site I've ever played on (I've played on a few dozen sites).

Well I just so happen to have a memory problem that I’m on disability for after a car accident… so… that’s why it’s been 8 years. And it was a ballpark.

Well that makes a lot more sense of it to me anyways.

They gave you no reason for the account closure? They didn't say it was from inactivity? If it was for inactivity, I can't see why they wouldn't just state this?
fwiw, I don't typically bother with Live Chat support and prefer to just email.

Deixe-me começar dizendo que em 2016 criei uma conta no PartyPoker. Lembro-me de ter feito uma grande vitória (25k). Acho que tinha 2 mil sobrando no meu bankroll. A vida aconteceu, passou para outras coisas e tentei logar e não consegui.

Entrei em contato com o suporte e fui informado que era porque eu era menor de idade. Como o que?!

E então eles me enviaram um link genérico de termos para dizer fraude. Estou tão confuso. Tentei dizer que sou vítima de fraude, eles escalaram apenas para dizer que a decisão é uma decisão final sem possibilidade de alterá-la após o escalonamento devido a uma “decisão comercial”

Eles estão sendo tão vagos e não tenho certeza do que posso fazer.

I left the 2k for a bankroll to use for future tournaments. But after being involved in a car accident, it got forgotten about.

This is very strange and i doubt a highly reputable site like PP would just ban u for playing underage when u are not.

Maybe u did not tell the whole story? Did u have other accounts there that u created underage? Did u let someone else play who won the 25k in ur first tournament?

If I were you, I would have withdrawn Practically everything and if you were inactive all this time, commercially speaking it was a loophole for them to close your account!

I never created an account underage. I can assure you. So where that came from is out of the left field. I played my own game. My friend was with me cheering me on, calling all his friends and ranting and raving about it. It was quite a moment!

At this point in time, I’ve decided my best approach is to speak to the privacy department and get my hands on the information that they have on me under freedom of information and privacy.
