I remember a few years back, this multimillionaire Rob Yong got heavily invested in party poker and there was a lot of hope that with this guy party is going to be "great again."

He was also acting as kind of players ambassador when there were problems. People contacted him over twitter to get things resolved.

Did he leave? Or even left long ago? Did not hear or read anything lately about him and his relation to party.

That's sad.. but I think there will be consolidation in online poker ads there are many sites and there is fierce competition.

I liked everything about partypoker, and their decision to leave my country was not clear to me and saddened me. I really hope that the change in his leadership will lead to his return.

Do you think PartyPoker can make a comeback? And maybe even a comeback to markets it has abandoned? Or no?

I only started playing Party Poker again recently after the 2011 domain seizures. They used to have stud games then but now there is only hold 'em, PLO and PLO8. Doing all right at the moment but this is very disappointing.

I play at Party Poker and although there are a few things I do not like( no huds etc) but compared to sites like PS and GG
I much prefer it, what the attraction of GG is I will never know, the software sucks and they actually charge you to withdraw your own money?

I hope Party Poker can be saved as I find a lot of criticism of it to be unfounded.

Yes it can. PartyPoker as a brand is huge part of poker and it always goes up and down.

I like it this way. When it's going up their promotions are wild! And when it's drowning it's just getting ready to go back up again!

Does anybody have any idea what this will mean for Ladbrokes/Coral Poker, which are part of the same network ?

A lot need to be done to save this poker room . I wonder how it still operates. They added done freerolls in the past , then they offered less with them and later only tickets . I think this poker room is dying many years now . Many things need to be done , some money to be invested in this room by his new owners .
