Partypoker final table lag

Hiya,

Well, I'm hoping somebody has experienced the same things and knows a possible solution.

The party poker software works absolutely fine ( no lag) until I get to a final table of a tournament where I get loads of what seems like FPS lag. It's happened twice in a row now which is really strange to me. I can't find anything on google.

My PC is pretty high spec.

I've restarted my PC, uninstalled and reinstalled the software - no change.

Odd one, any help appreciated.

I don't know if any of the following could help, but consider these. You're hardware is probably fine since you an high spec machine.
You might check drivers, especially video and sound drivers and make sure you have the ones the game client uses, to avoid compatibility errors. Also make sure that you have the most recent drivers, by checking the website for each one. These often cause gaming/streaming hangups. Something is different about the final table in the game client, and that difference is giving your system fits. I imagine reinstalling the game client could help, but not likely. The problem seems to me like a compatibility problem. I don't know if your game client uses Java, but if it does, make sure that you have the latest on that as well. Another possibility is the internet protocol setting. You might contact their support person to make sure you have the best settings selected for connectivity. Another possibility is that your lag is caused by your router or wifi node rather than your system. Hard to tell, but these are the basics.
