Incredible partypoker promotion, thanks for the information, but I won't be able to enjoy it because partypoker left my country approximately 3 months ago, I hope one day I can return.

We seem to be pretty blessed in the UK when it comes to online poker. The government don't seem interested in meddling with it at all, which gives the poker sites no reason to want to leave the market. I think as other countries government have changed laws regarding online gambling, poker sites have gone "do you know what? It's not worth our hassle, we'll just stop operating in your country".
We can play on pretty much any site you can think of apart from WPT. We also do not have to pay ANY tax on gambling winnings

PartyPoker has said, they wanted to leave all "grey markets", which they then did. But now they have also started leaving regulated markets like sweden, where they already had a license, and there has been no changes to the law for many years. So I guess, their plan is to offer games in the UK (where Rob Yong is from) and then maybe on the moon? :)

Can't play on Winamax in the UK.

The government makes more tax by taxing the gambling companies rather than taxing winners.

On the moon...this seems familiar
👽😅👍

Afaik UK market is strictly regulated. I read from many players that they had to send wealth documents after deposting multiple times.
Also they have a deposit limit of 1k/month which makes it very difficult to move any meaningfull money around.

"Being blessed when it comes to online poker". Not sure if one single UK pro, semi pro or even any uk player who plays above micros would agree on that @Matt_Burns88.

This deposit limit is also bad for the rest of the players because a lot of money from Uk problem gamblers, tilted fish etc is missing that would normally find its way into the playerpool. Because they cant redeposit once they deposited a maximum of 1k/month and as a result they will just stop play or tilt off somewhere else.

Sweden and germany also have deposit limit. In Sweden its 5.000 SEK per week and 20.000 SEK per month. This is roughly similar to $500 and $2.000. So a bit less strict than UK apparently but still a major issue for high stakes player, who cant move their funds around or have them sitting in a regular bank account. If for instance somebody wants to play the SCOOP and WCOOP events on pokerstars, they need to leave a significant amount of money sitting on PokerStars 12 month a year.

If they stop playing, then at least it serves its intended purpose. But the issue is, at least here in Sweden its per site, and there are also unregulated sites and brick and mortar places, where people can continue gambling. So in reality general deposit limits almost certainly does not help people with real gambling problems. For most people losing $2.000 per month on multible sites is already far more, than they can afford. And on the other hand if someone has a net worth of several millions, they dont really need this sort of "protection".

My last spin was a $1 overdrive.

Also the freeroll is tomorrow. 300 places paid, and only 80 entrants.

I reckon these will basically be deposit $10 and win a minimum of $3.30 ticket!! Massive value here, plus there are 4 of them starting this week!
