In order to play frerolls at PartyPoker, is it necessary to deposit?

Downloaded the partypoker App to play the cardschat bronze freeroll, but when I try to register, pop ups a message saying that I have to activate my account to play real money games. And then the deposit page comes... Is it indeed necessary to deposit to play freerolls there?

While I understand your frustration on this but Masha is 100% correct that this is not a CardsChat rule but a party poker one.

The one really positive part is that once you make a small minimum deposit you will have access to play in the free rolls and win some cash from them. There is a lot of value here for you if you make the one time deposit.

I don't remember exactly how it works in PartyPoker, but usually a deposit in any platform comes with a verifying process. In PartyPoker you can do that before, just to earn some time.

No, the issue of verification will arise only when the participant wants to withdraw their funds. This is not required to make a deposit. However, the participant can go through the verification procedure in advance.

Although, sometimes, there are situations when the poker room demands to do this (usually this happens when the poker room has doubts about the participant).

I once encountered this when I made a mistake when entering personal data and in order to correct this error, the poker room requested supporting documents and as a result, I passed verification in advance.
