I didn't play in either one because I didn't have the time yesterday, but I was checking the updates and it looked to me like 3/4 of the pros were just sitting out the entire time. I think there were only 16 of them that even made the money. The 2nd to last time I checked it seemed like half of them had less than 200 chips, which to me looks like a sit out. I could be wrong because I didn't watch any of the tables to check, just where they went out looked funky

They probably just joined to say they were part of a world record.
I was thinking of just buying in and not showing up truth be told:p

I think it's possible that FullTilt just joined them automatically, just so that their Pro Team was represented. I could be wrong, but it's possible, like I said, I didn't even have the chance to play, so what do I know lol ;)

Open Full Tilt and find the tournament. You will see all of the places listed still. You will have to check the box at the bottom of the lobby that says "Show Completed" in order to see the ones that are finished

It was capped at 50,005 which was 15,000 more than the old record. They filled it to capacity, and only gave away 4,000 entries for free with a 5$ entry. Stars tourney was 1$ and they gave away 1,000 seats for free every hour for several days. I don't think FT was that serious about the record, just ending their "5" promo with a good tourney.

yeah I agree, if FTP was really serious about it they would've made the tourney much bigger lol.

Instead it got owned by Stars
