Full Tilt dealt me 1 card....

Somethign similar happened to me like this when they were doing all that updating a while back, but one card was face down, so I had to look in the chat box to see what my card was, luckily I was not multi-tableing at this point.

It's been happening with some regularity lately at FTP (it's still rare but it does happen). It's a display issue not a dealing issue. If you hover your mouse pointer over your pod (where your name/stack is shown) you'll see the pop up with both cards listed. You can do this to decide how you want to play the hand. I have seen screen caps with this, the problem Trigga Los had, as well as people who can't see the board cards recently, so I believe you.

haha that is a funny story. Maybe it was a little late at night and you and your husband had a little too much to drink and you were playing poker for quite a while i think that is what you are missing from this story.

Stuff like this happened to me (and others IIRC) a bunch of times on Full Tilt a few months ago when they were doing their major software upgrade and still working the bugs out of the system. Occasionally you'd get just one card or sometimes no cards, or the betting buttons didn't work.

Hasn't happened to me anytime recently but it's possible this is a hangover from the upgrade as well.

I never thought to hover my mouse over my name - I was so surprised and being in early position the action got to me quickly and I timed out making sure Joe got in here to see it lol.

I also took the time to type in the chat box that I only had 1 card - but I know nobody believed me.

Anyone want odds on whether or not FT responds to my email? lol

I sent them a few months ago that they have yet to respond to. Good thing it wasn't very important.

When full tilt had some updates last year, I stopped getting cards in time. I would always see my cards after the hand was over. Very frustrating. In your case I would have thought the other one was a wild card. j/k lol

When I had good starting hands and went all in, I wouldn't know if I won or not til after the hand. The cards wouldn't show while in play.

I've seen this happen and just assumed it to be the computer being to slow to display what was happening. Only seen it when I was playing multiple tables. Like WVH said, you can still see which cards you have by hovering your mouse over your avitar location.

One time someone bet and the chips wouldnt be visable. It was weird but the pot stayed right the whole time.

Haha nice! I've had times where I had no cards. What happens is that Full Tilt knows what card you have, but some how your computer didn't receive the information to show you what cards you have. I hope they sort this problem out. I wouldn't want to see that happening in a crucial event!

I dont think it is fake because it has the message from pokerstars up as well saying the tourny has been cancelled and all buy ins will be returned and 3 players sitting at the table with the chat box up and everything. If it is fake I dont see how any 1 could photo shop or make this up. It also has the tourny ID at the top

All of it is fake - it was photo shopped. We have all seen it many times.

That`s a sucker bet. FT don`t bother with answering emails, too busy counting their money. Everyone knows that.

I've been dealt 4 cards in Holdem before (yes, it wasnt Omaha, lol). But they were just replicates of each other -- ie: As4hAs4h

Two years ago I was running old pc I bought for $40 and had windows 97 on it.Whenever I tried to play seven card stud on doylesroom my cards were all face down. Obviously my old computer could not handle the graphics of that game on that site. When i got my new pc everything was fine.

I have been dealt 1 card at first sight, but I simply minimized the window and then clicked on the taskbar to make it big again. Then I could see my 2 cards.. It's probably some flaw related to the graphics and most likely flash..

There are times where your screen, for some reason, just doesn't show everything. I know I've had it happen on UB before and I'm assuming it can happen on any site. It's really not the site software, it's yours I think.

If you had minimized the table and then brought it back you probably would have seen both cards.

I've had that before, but back when FT were in the middle of the bulk of their updates a few months ago, and it happened a couple of times, I hovered over my name and it popped up with my holding in text, when it happened to me I couldn't see flops etc. either lol
