Yeah,a big minus for FT regarding this option...

+1

I don't play CG so it doesnt effect me, but I think FTP have made a major brain fart with that option which could bite them on the ass.

Yes, they did, and as a FT player I'm not sure why you would find this "completely shameful and disgusting" - no being able to specifically hunt new players is good IMHO

It's not good for rec players who are looking for fishies to pay their wages.

It's good because it will hopefully keep the recreational players longer at the tables and bring new ones in. I much prefer not to table select and have new players at the table then compete with 3 other regulars in hunting a lone fish

I've been grinding the new format for a bit, this gave me some more insight but my conclusion is the same.

a noble marketing rant,I say Yes but ripping off the grinders I say NO.

Tables are being balanced, read enforced short handed games. Blinds come around more frequently which means you pay more rake. Ripping off the grinders you ask? Lets see:

366 hands I count 47 times in BB at 9 max I would normally post 40 times. Instead we have less than 8 handed average (7,87) and a 2.86BB/100hands shortfall if I include SB.

That is rake on 7 orbits I would not usually have paid, no tell me again I'm not getting shafted.

They just trying to even things for those who dont have HUDs/Dataminers.

They don't want people seeking out and bullying the fish. It's pretty stupid...{snip}

With 3 tables, hold on a sec are there less tables now than before or am I imagining things, anyway it is not that hard to be at every table, can you say "here fishy fishy". Hud even works with rush poker so how would this change?

I hear what is being said about protecting the innocent blah blah blah, but I just don't see it.

The bottom line, to use alexis8888's words:

It is not what we want

We already have rush poker if you don't want a choice of table. I want to choose a table or wait for a seat to open at this one.

So why?
