Full Tilt Changes Freerolls

It would have been nice to get a bit of warning - even an announcement on their site ..
Like " We are cancelling all the $150 Freeroll games, and we are cancelling all the individual country freerolls.. etc."
Boy have they ever cancelled a lot of freerolls, not to mention changed the prize pool structure on the ones that anyone has won tickets for !
All this without one word of warning... anyone else noticed?

Would have been nice to get a warning that our weekly round 2 tickets would become next to worthless.

You should log into the client and search under the free roll tab, it's all there

I would kill to play Full Tilt again... Their software trumps the amount of freerolls that they host by all means.

You can still use your round 2 tickets, I used one Sunday, I have 9 remaining

The biggest bad idea possible for FTP .
That Freerolls was very helpfull ... And now , we miss them . Was very usual to make some money on them and to develope the money on their tables, tournaments . Whatever , i don't understand why and as long is this '' cancell sesion '' .. FTP , we want back that tournaments ! It's a big shame , because they don't advertise us what and how ( or i am don't know personally this ) why , why , why was this drastical change . They losted so much money from that freerolls ?! LOL !

I just entered and .. the special informations about what , how and why still missing ... Worst and worst . Maybe they have lost a lot of money on that freerolls and now they had cancelled up all that tournaments . LOL , '' have losted a lot of money '' .

Has anyone encountered the new game schedule - freerolls in Full Tilt?

I'm totally against !! especially for the announcements part I played the last 150 dollars freeroll and then nothing I checked their website everything was normal no posts no one tals abt missing freerolls; however, for the tickets I did not noticed everything was normal for me. In my opinion, they are maybe struggling with money those days this is why the stopped giving some of it, but its hard to believe that Full tilt has money issues its simply unbelievable!!

so sad...I miss the country specific freerolls...was nice to play against fellow Aussies and have a friendly chat instead of playing against 4 Russians,2 Bulgarians,2 Ukrainians,1 Canadian,etc etc etc....
bring back the freerolls PLEASE

You can still make money playing freerolls on FTP. You can either register for the bankrollmob freerolls they run from 12:30 to 22:30 every 2 hours, everyday. They even have a special freeroll if you place top a few times. I have only won once on this and it gave me $5.50. I normally only get a few cents a few times playing this, but every cent counts and I enjoy playing them.

The other way to make money is to get a ticket for the $1000 round two. Yea it is very hard to achieve money on the $1000 for the 11,000 + 12,000 field it gets, but it is not impossible!!

I started my BR with freerolls and have played Croatia freerolls for fun ever since... sad to see them go but I suppose they served their purpose by bringing people to the site. What is left is pretty crappy.

I have never played 6 card Omaha and they have that, might give it a go one day

The old freerolls covered almost all the games:Limit and No limit Hold'em, Razz, Omaha, HORSE, Stud. The new style for the freerolls is very cheap compared to the old ones, and the old ones were pretty small to begin with.

The new format is more to reduce their operating costs, and to encourage more people to deposit more then anything else in my opinion.

Yea I agree that they are trying to encourage people to deposit now.

I prefer the games they do now as I prefer to just play Razz or stud. I don't mind playing horse and will probably miss it, but I always got confused when they changed from razz to stud, I always lost chips not realising until it was too late

Well i was little pissed when i saw that but wen i gave it a thought i realized that i rarely played 150$ last few months, i only cashed once for less that 2$ and played more that 3 hours, my country dont have national freeroll so, from my perspective, meh...

i'll keep playing round 1 fr, we will see if there will be more tourneys to play with those tickets, i just saw 5000$ that can be played with one of them...

A warning would have been appreciated since I searched for them.

I tell you poker these days is in a freefall.

i just took first ticket with new rules... super turbo 200 tickets, 5k+ participants, i didn't won a ticket at superturbo since daily dollar

gonna try to collect few more in next couple days planing to use 4 of them on 5000$ FR on sep.8

Hopefully they will bring in better free rolls in the future but I don't think those free rolls that you mentioned are coming back anytime soon
