It used to be so annoying you'd try to open the current pokerstars game on your phone from your computer or vise versa and it would make you leave current game and then find logout and by the time you were logged back in you'd miss the hand. Also if you accidentally left your pc logged in at home and had a game starting and needed to run on mobile- too bad. Today I noticed there must have been an update because when I switched to PC, it said I had an active game open and asked if I'd like to transfer it.

excellent news and I see that every day the platforms are innovating more. Some people do not ask you to put your password with just your fingerprint on your poker App.

I almost regret writing about this new feature above, I was playing a 2.20 bounty game (which is high for me :) and had something to do, so I went to turn on my mobile version, it said it needed an update, fine - updated, then it asked if I wanted to switch to mobile, clicked yes, it hung up there, tried to log back in on the computer, said I was still logged in on mobile, I literally turned my whole phone off trying to get it to log off, it wouldn't work, said I was still logged in. I tried for half an hour, emailed support - they apparently ended login for me, so I was finally able to log back in, half bankroll gone because was so late in game. This was their explanation which doesn't make sense because all I did was required update and tried to login? So I guess I will never use that feature again in fear of getting locked out of a game for half an hour.....
"You were experiencing what is called a 'hanging login', generally caused by an abnormal shutdown of the session between the user software and the server.
This is common for players who leave their account logged in and get disconnected due to a server restart. It is also common for this to affect players who are using the mobile app or our web browser software and simply close the app without clicking on 'Log Out'. If you do use the mobile app or log in via our website, please ensure that you always click 'Log Out' before closing it.
We have now ended the login session for your account and you should now be able to log in and play. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again."

I replied it was a software issue, anyways they wanted log files off my computer, but the computer wasn't the problem so I didn't bother, annoying.
