low and behold merge gives me the big FU as far as fair pay for my tournament that was shut down 1 person before final. They offered a couple satellites which is garbage. But the tournament director and I believe/ assistant manager has told me he will personally make it right if he can't convince merge too. If this is the case and he does then this garbage we've been hearing about Feltstars being a scam site ect. is just that garbage. Anyways we will see because it has not been done yet. But if this is made right personally by Feltstars I would have to say they are a pretty good skin. We will see I guess. I'll come back and post again after this has been resolved.
Didn't have an account at Feltstars, but when I went to open Reefer today, it automatically updated and now I have FS, and account balance is fine.
The personal info is a little messed up, but that can be fixed.
I don't like that when a player adds you to his buddy list for P2P transfers, he can now see your account # which is used by certain payment processors for transactions. Maybe I'm just a little paranoid?
Well heres my story. I happen to find out about the merger through the forum like everyone else, not an email foprm the poker sites. I waited for an email, it never came. I emailed Reefer support about my small balance there. They tell me "I" have to do that "MYSELF" using my Reefer/Feltstars screen names and the "buddy funds transfer method". I figured it out and did just that. I transfered funds from my Reefer screen name to my Feltstars screen name and it worked. But the lack of communication on their part is horendous. If I had not taken the initiative and emailed them, the funds would still be sitting in both accounts! My only consolation is the crappy PR policy we're seeing from these rooms represents the attitude of 99% of all the online poker sites. That not an excuse , just a fact.
Honestly, I don't know what possesses people to play at sites like these... There are so many larger, more dependable sites to play at.
lol I agree, I personally never would deposit on a site called Reefer, and pretty much did avoid them until one OFC event, and I was lucky enough to cash in the freeroll and then the buy in.This ^
When I first started seeing advertising online for 'REEFER POKER'... I thought, "Oh f'n please.. lol. Gimmee a break! "REEFER POKER"... lol... bunch of dopeheads playing Nintendo in their basements decide to open a pokersite, lol. Yah... I want my money on there for sure!"

Hearing how they fk'd with you here... this is TERRIBLE!! I mean how could they possibly have entries going into Tournaments when they were going to be shutting down? (did they need the extra tourney fees they'd be pulling in.. that badly or what?... that's ridiculous!).
I can't see how the other skin would be honouring some rule that REEFER hand (what... don't bogart the blinds?). GL with that. Sounds like a loss to me (at least you didn't bubble). Can picture them reading over the emails, while hauling away on a bat, stuffing down the cheetos.... lol.. oh look.. here's another one who entered that tourney, lol.
Really sucks man. But maybe a lesson in here for some??

I would not have been crushed if my money was gone as I really didn't have any real money vested in it.
I just play there occasionally now- mostly the all in or fold tourney for a break from really playing and I don't care if I donk out as the buy in was free money.
My account is fine now! yay! I had updated my email on Reefer but with the switch my log in was my old email which I had originally signed up with, so after I figured out which one it was and my pwd, I am good to go. Feel silly LOL but just happy I can play now! :santaclau
To be honest this is reason I hate having money on skins.
