Actually solving the issue of bots is a somewhat complicated task.
I think the best way is to observe the game pattern. Try to chat with him in the chat
So: when I ask another player in chat:
'are you a bot?'
and the answer is:
a) 'blieb', versus
b) 'no, are you a troll?'
Then a) is the bot and b) not a bot?
Then I fear the probabilaty of being wrong is exceeding 50%.
Please watch the movie ex-machina.

Does anyone play on Pokerstars with play money? I play whenever I lose too much real money but cant quit playing poker. The thing I noticed is there are a ton of accounts with the word "Fiery" in their username fieryhearts, fieryqueen, fieryking etc Also those accounts never have a picture.

So I was wondering, anybody else noticed that? Is "Fiery" that common word?

Truth is I havent seen anyone yet in real money games with such name but I will always see one or two whenever I play with play money. Funny thing is, if these are bots they do a great job to mask it, they may tank, they may do stupid stuff like shoving 3 times in a row, and are easily beatable most of the time.

Don't be naive - all online poker sites have bots. Some sites do a better job of finding them and eliminating the problem. Some do not (Americas Cardroom for example).

It's an old controversy and often associated only with pokerstars. But if there are bots in poker, I believe it's from the site itself and not from some smart person who is making a profit.
In my opinion the bots serve to give more players in the tables and that are of the own sites of poker, these bots appear with constancy and play with real money and not in fictitious games.
To realize that the players are bots, notice that they do not have an emotional intelligence, only sequence and self-programmed.
The bots most of the time go all in front of them to prevent their action and at other times bet too high and speculative hands and end up winning.
online poker in the world will only be profitable when the rooms end up with their own bots.

I've also met some bizarre 'people' at the tables with a very chaotic game. I did not think they were boots but they caught my attention because they did not have pictures of the avatar and when you ask them something chat I never answer ... so what conclusions do we draw? I will be careful in the future to write down their nickname and track them and maybe with a report to the customer support service, will we give those people there whether they are real or not !?

Alot of people play on their phones to. I mean i dont write in chat when im on the phone

After reading OP, I immediately opened a Texas Hold'em session and sure enough:

bots are a part of life. When I used to do work for Amazon flex, he'd hack into their system for work blocks. When they finally caught up a year later we built a better bot. These companies are always a step behind, it's a losing battle for them the same way file sharing was.

Maybe there are bots, maybe not, but if you manage to make a profit from the game, then it does not matter.

At the moment I have not happened a fact that makes me doubt, about whether the player that I face, is or not a bot.
I do not reject the possibility that there are people, who engage in fraudulent maneuvers, in order to circumvent the soft security and the transparency of the players.
But I try to remain skeptical of these things, mainly because I want to keep my mind focused solely on the game, and not think about factors outside the game. But the reality is that as technology advances, there are people who use it for good as well as for bad.
Anyway, I choose to trust the computer security that currently exists in PS.
Greetings.

How to understand that the PokerStars bot is playing against me
Even a professional player cannot quickly identify a bot, because in order to accuse an opponent with fraud with complete confidence, you need to play a lot of hands against him, and then analyze them and highlight features that indicate artificial intelligence.

However, you can begin to doubt that a bot might be playing against you, according to some signs:

Always use the same decision time;
Does not answer questions in the chat;
Repeated use of a certain line of action (especially unusual);
Always bets the same size;
Almost all bots are not bluffing;
Leaves the table at a certain point (for example, when there are few participants left in the game;
Holds sessions at the same time;
Plays many tables with the same statistics

Not so sure

I honestly don’t think that there is as many as people think that there are. I often get called a bot when playing on all sites. I rarely post into the chats at all and definitely don’t defend my playing when someone calls me a bot. Everyone makes the bad call sometimes with the nuts and everyone hits on the turn with shitty cards.

That’s one bot accounted for!

I believe that poker bots are widespread in the age of artificial intelligence. In my opinion poker rooms should investigate suspicious gaming behavior and take action against bots. Since the use of bots is not only illegal but also fraud and thus a criminal offense, high penalties with a lifelong game ban are quite conceivable. I believe that no poker room will be said to have done nothing against pokerbots.

I think that in all the rooms there are bots, there are few that publish their fight against this. I think that PokerStars has never published a news about this, instead partypoker does.
