Does anyone play on pokerstars with play money? I play whenever I lose too much real money but cant quit playing poker. The thing I noticed is there are a ton of accounts with the word "Fiery" in their username fieryhearts, fieryqueen, fieryking etc Also those accounts never have a picture.

So I was wondering, anybody else noticed that? Is "Fiery" that common word?

Truth is I havent seen anyone yet in real money games with such name but I will always see one or two whenever I play with play money. Funny thing is, if these are bots they do a great job to mask it, they may tank, they may do stupid stuff like shoving 3 times in a row, and are easily beatable most of the time.

Maybe bots are appearing but many poker rooms seem similar so I don't believe pokerstars are the only room that have bots.

No, I dont claim Pokerstars have bots in real money games, at least I have anything to support this case. I only speak about play money games.

PokerStars and 888 are the worst of the bunch because they of course are not immune to people saying "hey i want to cheat and make a bot" they just will not let you know when you have been screwed by a bot, they will come to your table and laugh at you.

Kill bots

It is unfortunate that there is still no way to completely extinguish the bots of poker rooms.:(

Yeah I'm not sure anymore when I saw the news that party poker hag eliminate 277 bot accounts or something close that number I was so impressed that I really thought that on these days online poker was save and that could play happy but now is s mystery just hope that poker rooms security works good enough to reduce them to the minimum and eliminate them if possible

But this bot you mentioned is a little strange, playing fake money and doing stupid things.
Maybe he also wants to take bad beats with fictitious money

Yep, Pokerstars should follow suit, quickly. The other sites are doing a good job of cleaning out the bots

Keep in mind I see those accounts only in Spin n Go play money. So shoving 3 times in a row is not that stupid there. Maybe he programmed to shove any big face cards or whatever.

Anyway, I was wondering the same thing and didnt understand the reason. But today I thought of this, lets say someone made a bot, what is the easiest way to test if it is profitable or not? And maybe there lies play money. Maybe not, I dont know. Maybe its just a coincidence and just some people have fiery in their usernames. I will look them up on sharkscope next time to see if I can find anything suspicious.

Ok, Sharkscope said that player have not found or he opt out. Can anyone help? Can I search him somewhere else?

Maybe he is a Pokerstars bot just so there are always available games to play in play money section?

It's really, analyzing this way (like a test) might be possible.
I also see some accounts with nicknames only in numbers, many numbers. Completely out of the ordinary
But I never stopped to observe their behavior

Actually solving the issue of bots is a somewhat complicated task.
I think the best way is to observe the game pattern. Try to chat with him in the chat

What you think guys. Big pokerooms have own bots to take all your money? 🤔 I had several times weird called, mostly in tournaments on PokerStars. For example I had aces and I raised, bot probably called with 37o and won turn 3 and river 7. It's no only one time.

I am no expert on this but bots are made by people who depend exactly on that guy who called you with 37o to make profit for them. I cant understand why would anyone program a bot to call with 37o.

Even if Pokerstars have their own bots, to get some rake, the money you would win of them when they call your aces with 37o would not be profitable for them.

The truth is in micros, most players when they get a really good hand they play it obvious and unbalanced. They will raise a lot preflop, and will shove whatever the board is. So someone could catch up on that, call you with any two, and once they hit two pairs, trips, straight, flush or whatever he calls your shove and take all your money. I dont speak exactly for your case but generally.

Welcome to the new world, sir.

Yes, there are bots on every single site without exception. But the degrees of their presence and negative effect vary. Of course, this is possibly something only the top executives of data analytics/securities departments are in control of. And we can only wonder and speculate on forums.

I've also met some bizarre 'people' at the tables with a very chaotic game. I did not think they were boots but they caught my attention because they did not have pictures of the avatar and when you ask them something chat I never answer ... so what conclusions do we draw? I will be careful in the future to write down their nickname and track them and maybe with a report to the customer support service, will we give those people there whether they are real or not !?
