Do you trust in poker sites ?

I'd like to believe that this never happens. But I'm not sure. Sometimes, watching as one of the lucky players are constantly on the map. And then sometimes the thought creeps in a bot from a poker site. If this exists only on small sites. Small poker rumam harder to survive in the world of poker.

Hello Poker Players. Today I red a report about a scandal of rigged tournaments. I feel a little bit unsecure now. Sometimes I have the feeling a game is rigged because a series of unbelievable luck of an opponent. What do you think ?

I was skeptical before I got paid out if i am playing agaist bots i dont really care i feel as its just better competion that some of the donk that talk smack over the chat.

One fun (maybe some times not so fun) and very strange thing is the sudden bad lucky phases you suffer with bad beats in sequence after you complain a lot about any point or situation even in trustable sites like Partypoker and Pokerstars.

If you keep an average of 30% of ITMs in any of those sites and start complaining with their support area coincidently almost 100% of times you gonna see your AA and KK being broken by any other marginal hands almost ever.
And normally when it happens I create a situation to say good words or make a deposit and suddenly my lucky in the flips returns. And it happened several times so it is statistically proved and quite strange and maybe possível in my view that they can negativelly "mark" some players who are complaining a lot and also eventually "help" some others in some situations!

I'm very sorry.....ROFL.....
I've seen numerous theories about software of sites being rigged or not and I don't comment as I simply do not know, and actually I couldn't care less.

The assumption a site would go after you in case you had some bad comments is rightout ridiculous.
I mean.....you really think they would change something in their software because you complained about something ?

To the original question....I trust them enough to play and as long as my money there is safe and my withdrawals are handled fast and smoothly, all is fine to me.

I think the big names in the market , at least , are safe and have no problem . pokerstars , partypoker , 888poker , ACR , I don't think they would risk to rig their games and a scandal to be revealed someday and their business to be destoyed , to lose money for nothing . They win enough money , they don't need to rig anything . So I trust the big sites , the smaller no because I am afraid someday they are going to shut down .

Some reasons for odd poker plays

There are too many reasons why an opponent would make an odd call. Here's a few that I've experienced which could explain:

I've been online shopping while playing poker and clicked back to the game and accidentally clicked on the call button losing half my money (but could have taken the pot on chance too).

I've had to leave to go to a dentist appt, so went all in a couple times hoping to get high enough bankroll to have some money when I get back.

I've let my hubby play on my account and he'll enter a pot that I never would think about because "he has a feeling" - very annoying and I bet there are a lot of people like that.

I'll play half a game, and opponents think they know how I play then I'll pass the game onto my hubby who plays completely differently and it might throw the opponents off.

People have to go to bed depending on their timezone, so they might go in hard and then just put 'away' to make it to the $.

I guess all poker sites are using the same algorithm for the game, so if you don't trust one site it means you don't trust them ALL !!!

It is only you deduce that nickel hunting machines are manipulated for the house to win always and poker sites have connection to casinos that have connection with hunting niquels, so in my observation yes they are handled yes all the poker site for the house always win

I only play on two poker sites and I trust them both. If I didn't, I wouldn't play on them.

Well ,sincerly I do not trust at the poker sites as well as the politics and lots of other things such as church's , ong's etc, generally all of them want your money.

I tend to keep my balance low when possible just in case they go bust. Better to spread the risk. Even high street banks can fail.

If I do not trust a poker site I do not play .. I personally only play in pokerstars because I know the payment system and so far have had no problems in withdrawing my winnings, some years ago I had a bad experience at Titan Poker and from there no longer playing anywhere else or that offer freerolls do not play :turtle:

Pokerstars is the most visited site in the world. I trust them absolutly. They have many tournements in online or offline poker. But some players using a lot of programs wich help them to win.
