Deep in a tournement, antes are coming into play, so should i play more hands?

Because im getting the odds to play suited connecters now because with no limpers you get like 5/2 on a call can/ should i play more hands? for example lets say im in the high jack position holding j9 suited. If im averaged stack is a limp a good play because of my odds? - Same question and if im very short stacked...

Why would you limp and let the big blind see a free flop when you could raise and take the pot without having to worry about missing?
