Pretty sad about it. They're gone off Aced and Sportsbook (which are also on the network) as well. I won $33 in a Sportsbetting freeroll yesterday, so I can use that to play Omaha and Omaha H/L, but haven't found any HORSE games so far. Wretched. On the plus side, no more tilting over Merge stallers.

The party is over, friends. Free rolls are just a gimmick to bring players to a site, players that they hope will deposit after trying to cash in a 3-4 thousand player field and getting fed up with idiots and donks. Carbon has eliminated more than free rolls too, haven't any of ya noticed the vip tier? Completely screwed it up, screwed up the guaranteed turnys, royally screwed up the whole site. Cashing points in is a joke, they redone the rate. I could care less if carbon dies tomorrow, even though it's one of the few sites left for U.S. players, it might as well not be.

I missed those freerolls too much. I think not too much thinking players used it, but freerolls must be on every poker room. Need to find some alternative freerolls with american players.

I stopped playing carbon when they stopped the steps, I loved them even though I never cashed in them :D

I would of carried on playing the CC freeroll but it is too late for me, I am thinking of just uninstalling carbon but I will play the low limits with my $5.75 that I have left and see how well I do :)

I will actually do that now, now that I have just talked myself into doing it :D

I think Carbon eliminated the freerolls as I can't find them either. I've only been playing for a couple weeks and they just vanished. I searched for more freerolls and found nothing, hence my attempt to join here. I guess we just need to keep trudging along until we accumulate 65 quality posts in order to get into another freeroll game. That's gonna take a long time for me and I'll probably be forced to give up the ghost before I reach the magic number as my time is quite limited. I'm hoping I can play a game before the next presidential election. :)

I played a few MTT on CC and have cashed up to $0.66 hahaha but now the freerolls have gone I suppose they expect me to deposit cash.
I can not with draw the money and it is insufficient to play ring games.
I play on PS and FT and 888.Just entered the CC site as I heard a lot about it.
Time to say good bye me thinks ! ?

last I checked CC only has a Carbon freeroll on Wednesday evening, that's going to keep me out of that poker room since I work 2nd shift. It really is a bummer too, I just got accepted to the club not long ago and now I cant even play them anyways.

There is also a BCP freeroll on tuesday evenings, a bovada on saturday afternoons, and a lock on sunday evenings to list the other US friendly freerolls curly.

I take it by MTT on CC you mean carbon? With the .66 you can play the .11 hyper 6man games.

Once/If you manage to obtain membership to the cc freeroll club we have games on ps, ftp, carbon, bovada, bcp and lock both freerolls and buyins (on carbon and bovada) with added bonuses. Just something to think about, not sure if you meant saying good bye as in to the forum or to carbon as not exactly clear.

Really missing the Carbon freerolls. I built up almost $50 on these and was hoping to amass a decent bankroll. Oh well, I will just have to figure out what to "throw" the $50 on for best odds and hope I come out on the positive side!

the BCP freeroll is also going when I'm at work, and as for Bovada and Lock I didn't like the software. I just wish pokerstars would still be an option.

Understandable, I'll probably be in the same boat with not being able to make all the freerolls I do now at some point as in process of obtaining a part-time job myself that could be evenings and/or weekends.

I actually kinda like the Bovada and Lock software havn't had any issues with them aside from not being able to reduce the Bovada table much and the fact of the issue going on with Lock cashouts. BCP has to be the most unstable of any poker site I have played on haha, and I enjoy carbon although I wish they had 6man don's cause I have been crushing those on lock recently but can't seem to get anything going in the 10man's on carbon.

Unfortunate that you are not able to make the carbon or bcp freerolls, but I would recommend giving the bovada and lock a try given they are the options of ones could probably get into. GL

The only way to get into a fairly decent FR now is through another site such as this one.

I miss the good old days on carbon when you had so many options for freerolls. And nice high paying ones too. They had the $200 freerolls that had money winnings and coupons for tourneys, then they had them trimmed back to $50.
They also had the fun steps. Those were awesome, you could play 10 a day. I liked grinding those because you could play them anytime of the day and people never had much patience so if you played tight you always made it to the fun step 3s.

I miss the good old days!

the only other thing I can think of is joining that CC poker club I heard about some time time ago when Pokerstars was introducing that home game software they have, however, I have not heard if that club even exists anymore or even what type of tournament schedule they would have. I am not a big cash game player, I prefer tournament play.

I think this might have something to do with the lack of sites for US players. The freerolls were a way to get new players on your site and the number of depositing players has gone down since the ban. I wonder how many freerollers actually deposit money on sites like Carbon.

I've deposited more than my share over the years at Carbon. The decrease in deposits has nothing to do with the presence of freerolls. It is due to the way the site treated me [rake, game selection, vip program] with value and fun added freerolls down the list. I have not looked at the site since they did away with the $50 freerolls, because that was the last checkmark on the list for me.
