cander - play the 10 seat guarantee. Mathematically, it's the same odds if it's 1 in 32, but somehow for me it's easier to be the top 10 out of 320 than the top 4 out of 128. Also, with 10 seats guaranteed there probably will be some overlay.

Last year the blackjack promo tourney was June 24 and had 914 players.

I got a blackjack today, Sunday. Do I have to submit the hand # or anything to activate the rollover bonus?

Lasted about 1 hour. No luck in the cardschat freeroll, blackjack, or the other 1k wsop freeroll bovada had.

OTB I get dealt pocket 8s and open with a standard 3x b/c it was folded around to me.

The BB calls.

Flop comes 728 rainbow giving me top set.

BB bets 1/2 his stack.

Im thinking no matter what this guy has, he's a donk.

Most likely with either 777, 789T, or maybe even 7788.

My thinking is, if I'm not winning races, I'm not winning this seat anyway so I put him to the test and he calls. So were both all in.

He flips 64os for a 8% gutshot draw.

Turn is an Ace, down to 4%, and, you know it, Rivers the 5.

I was not really upset because at least it happened early as opposed to getting donked out 4 hours in.

I lasted a while but didn't cash either. Bad weekend all around for me, card dead in the $500 ME on Sunday, just short of cashing in $55 5k guarantee and down close to $70 total on the weekend.
