Wow - how many US sites are there then? Flaunting the UIGEA big style.
I suppose the government will have to give in eventually and legalise it just like Colorado and amendment 64 - which I have to say is impressive. Finally prohibition ends and the same has to happen with poker - ya think? Government does a U-turn? Probably - when the next crazy nut job republicans get their way. But Colorado is a Republican dominant state???? Go figure?!:stickyman
You forgot about I 502 in Washington, and I thought Colorado was a swing state. :D

I would not be surprised if they use bits on there. I am a winning player on the site and it seems more often than not ( in a sit and go ) the lone tag player on the table is on my right and pushing a lot !!

Hi, I recently started playing poker on Bovada like many other sites I've read reviews saying there are bots on the site. I'm sure it isn't true but is there anything to back these allegations? Also I've noticed there is no bad beat jack pot does anyone know why? Thanks alot Cory Riggs

Hello all! I'm new to this forum and really needed to express my dislike for Bovada. I have no problem getting beat it's part of the game. But I swear, there is some fishy stuff going on at Bovada. And that goes for all table games. Playing 21, 8 hands is a row, Ihave 20, dealer 5 cards 21, I have 19 dealer 20, I have 20 dealer has 20. Craps, 3 card, blackjack, hold'm; they all suck in my opinion at Bovada. I've only been signed up with the sight for a few months but i wont be playing there anymore. That sight blows.

@ josubia- Sorry to hear you have displeasure with Bovada. I like the site, the only thing I dislike about it is the anonymous aspect of the poker tables. Other than that, no complaints here. It seems like you like to play everything but poker. Be aware that in everyone of the games you mentioned, there is a house edge. These games are designed to beat you in the long run, but looks like they are beating you early on as well. I'd suggest avoiding all the pit games you play, and focus on playing poker. There is no house edge in poker (other than rake.) Just know that when playing pit games, you are truly gambling. Might as well play the lottery, buy some scratchers, and/or play bingo. I personally wouldn't play at any on-line casino, if you feel it's rigged don't play there. There are 100's of on-line casinos to choose from, just don't expect to win or get rich playing on-line casino games. Only people getting rich is the casino.

The "cashout curse" is REAL.
I been playing there for 3+years.
You cash out once.....and it will be relentless until you pay it all back!

With that said, I still like Bovada.
On the plus side of getting "rivered", "coolered", and basically getting "quaded!",
Bovada has the fastest and cleanest cash out process I have ever seen on ANY online poker site.
And, I play on quite a few. If you do manage to win, you WILL get paid in a timely manner with no drama and excuses like other sites will
put you through. So, it's a toss up really.

I concur. I would not recommend playing on Bovada. It appears the odds are skewed after a bonus is issued or a cashout occurs. I've been playing online and live for 10+ years and cannot believe my eyes on the many suck outs I see. And its not as if they happen as you'd expect, but statistically high.

It would not be difficult for Bovada to use an algorithm that tweaks the odds against players (that are winning, earn a large bonus, or cashout a large sum) and no one would be the wiser because lets face it, nobody can see their programming logic other than them.

People say that Bovada has no reason to do so because they take a rake. Well if they keep losing players in the game (gamblers, nits, fish, donks, etc), games going, and pots bigger, then their rake and profits increase. Moreover, if Bovada uses bots (not saying they do), then they can use bots and a skewed algorithm to keep money in-house so they can earn more interest on your money in a deposit-bearing account.

I have personally have made money on Bovada but won't play there anymore due to the massive variance downswings due to absurd suck out after suck out that are statistically improbable.

If you have the means, you'd be better off playing on Stars of FullTilt.

On the flipside, Bovada does have an awesome cash out process. I've received checks in as little as 4 days after requesting them and have had no problem depositing them.
