link? Also Becky, I do not appreciate your collegue Justin posting on 2p2 that there are members at cardschat who are happy about the updates.
Yeah there are maybe 1 or 2 here but 10 or 15 is a gross overestimate. Its a minor post but still, kinda misleading. I dont think there is anyone here who is truly supporting this.

Yep. That combined with their seemingly excellent ability to get their players paid with 7 days could have given them the US market.Well all they had to do was offer proper multitabling, proper support and a functional software and there you go. You have a successful site.
This is what I was thinking right after BF. Bodog could have ruled the poker world and they dropped the ball. Who's really in charge of these upgrades (downgrades, er:: downloads), whatever? And whoever is putting BodogBecky down, STOP IT. I don't know anyone on any site who had been more on our side or tried to help us. Do you? You'd think with the oppurtunity Bodog has had since BF that even a simpleton could make changes on that site that could easily double (triple?.. quadruple?) player traffic/volume. But.. nope. They choose to do the opposite, & pull off the ultimate fail.
Okay, that's it. All the aforementioned idiocy is bad enough, but now they've crossed a line I cannot abide by.
I have Bodog, as I do all poker clients, installed to my D: drive. I install nothing to my C: drive, which is an SSD for OS only. This Bodog "update" blew away my D: installation and installed to C:\Bodog. Not even C:\Program Files which is the Windows default. C:\Bodog. Such an abominable sin cannot be understated.
Glad I blew off my last $8 last night while checking out the insanity. Uninstalling as we speak...
Next up for Bodog Software Updates -- Anonymous Sportsbook Betting (for losing players).

Lark, they haven't sponsored pros in a long time, since the UIGEA at least. As I recall David Williams was the last one. Getting rid of pros was part of their conversion to this Recreational Player Model. And what about the Bodog poker pros? What role will they have? Or they now history too?
About this "recreational player" concept, has Bodog provided a profile of the prey... er...I mean of such a person?

I made a post just letting them know it was not true.Yeah, you wouldn't want recreational sports bettors to be at a disadvantage because they didn't know diddly squat about the teams, players or horses, as the case may be.
Did a CCer who's a reg over there too post something a counter to this? As far as I can tell, there was one person here who was initially supportive but changed his opinion after further thought.

I too load all my poker sites on my external hard drive (drive E.) and I too have had the update install automatically to my C drive.I have Bodog, as I do all poker clients, installed to my D: drive.
Yes it is US friendly but I would suggest that you read the whole of this thread before you play there. This is a newb question, but is Bodog for U.S players also? and are there any good freerolls that give good cashes?
