Big stacks should win more. If you're sitting at the final table with 50% of the chips and have skills, you have a very good chance of winning

Yesterday I was in finals table at 888poker 22€ arena bounty with 65% of chips and I finish 3....I have 3 bad beats in a row with QQ AK AK. U have to be lucky too :deal:

Good job getting to the FT! You have to be extremely lucky to win a tournament, especially at the FT when the site ramps up the bad beats.

i had bigger stack of 60bb with 77 and open with 2bb raise from big blinds, action folds to small blinds who has 12bb and he shoves i call.

he has 88 n i turn a set. it helps ur point but i don't agree with you that its deliberate by stars if so in that position id always win in which case i know i don't. i called however because its less risk to me as he has a short stack, if he wins wouldn't hurt a whole lot while i have the chance to reduce the number of opponents."thus taking the risk" and i got rewarded, but as i said u don't always get rewarded but its up to you in the situation to take the risk.

sidebar, too often i all flop with bottom pair and turn set. so once it's affordably priced I'm seeing turn same for river if affordably priced

It seems to me that this is a myth, I went from falling short in the first hand, only with a blind and coming back until I won a tournament, of course with 180 players, but it happened.

Nope. It's all about luck. It's not "rigged" so anything can and does happen.

The biggest stack has an advantage, but no guarantee.

It makes sense *why* this conspiracy theory started though.

If you have the biggest stack in the tournament... especially late... you can make a lot of really bad calls and still be ahead on chips.

More hands, more chances at hitting.
More chips you win.

With a big stack you can play lot more hands and get lucky with maybe 79 or so.
It then may seem that bigger stack always wins, but maybe he&she is just playing good the advantage of many chips.
