I would say this does seem to be a regular thing especially when getting towards the latter stages of a tournament

You think that. Show me a statistical analysis where it has been observed at least 5000 to 10000 hands. I think you would find that it happens about the same percentage of times that the hands of the larger stack were expected to win. In other words if the larger stacks hand was expected to win 25% of the time in reality it did win 25% of the time.

Big stacks should win more. If you're sitting at the final table with 50% of the chips and have skills, you have a very good chance of winning

Not always, sometimes the player with the top 1 stack takes the last place at the finals due to bad luck or mistakes

It is called the "the power of the big stack". If you are facing a big galoot then you are bound to be a bit nervous and make some dumb moves.

Your on tilt i get it everything is happening to you cause your soo good at the game. Ever wonder why ppl with big stacks win more.. Easy they study the game more than you have. Think about all the poker knowledge you know and how often you study each night. Now think that there are ppl who love the game more than you who study it 10 times more often than you think about it constantly. They learned how to suvive they know when to holdem and when to fold em. Can you honestly say that you put real effort into the game,,,,NO lol dont worry your not different. Just like in life if you put in the work it will show.

I think it's right. Having a bigger stack in the final moments of the tournament always gives the possibility of putting pressure on the rivals. As long as the player has the necessary skills.

I don't think that's true, I think the player with the biggest stack can take chances with speculative hands, giving him greater chances. Let's say a player has 30,000 chips, someone goes all-in with 900 chips, the player with 30,000 chips will call with any hand and can win.

No I dont feel that way. In fact it can be quite annoying, when the short stacks keep on getting lucky and dubbling up near the bubble or payjumps, because that puts me at risk, if I am a middling stack. And this happens just as often as the short stacks busting. If I am the short stack myself, then I generally accept, I am selected to go out next, and it does not upset me, when I lose some sort of all-in preflop situation. Instead I am happy, if I manage to win one and dubble up.

Pokerstars does this to make tournaments finish faster and players to sign up for other tournaments to generate more rake. :D

Yeah they really need to do this, because they could not achieve the same thing by altering the blind structure, and they have certainly not invented something called "turbos" including Spin n Gos or increased the rake for various games. There is really no other way for them to get a higher profit margin than to rig their RNG and risk their entire multi-million dollar business if exposed ;)

(End of irony)

Did before they banned USA. However my statement will hold up on any legitimate poker site, which pokerstars is. The size of the stack doesnt matter. If you believe it does next time you are the big stack always go all in because you believe you cant lose. Try that out and get back to me.

Simple: big stacks usually play more hands, so they win more...

Look at the stats of who you're playing against. Usually they've earned their stack.

The thing is... don't we all start with the same stack? And if you are saying the biggest stack will always win flips... it's just a wrong perception that you have.

Are you talking about if the hand goes to a showdown? Or in general the bigger stack sizes win?

Have not personally experienced stack size discrepant on show downs. Just got knocked out of two tournaments on pokerstars MI with bigger stack size AND better hand pre-flop lol. It happens.

In tournament play - bigger stacks will always have an advantage because you can play a tighter, cleaner game.

When you have 100+ big blinds you can wait, bluff, and bully.

When you have less then 10 BB late in a tourney all you can do is go YOLO with the first good hand you have.
