Best Tourney Finish?

Yeah finally did well in a tourney.Finished 2nd in todays freeroll on Noble Poker, And to respond whats the best you ever done in a tourney you have been in, well mine won one and came in 2nd once. other then that its been all over the place. so tell me whats your best finish?

The best I ever did in the Noble freeroll was first but I consider first and second almost the same. I came in first at Interpoker for a $1 buy in for $90.

As I mentioned in another thread. I came in 2nd out of a field of 800 at Planet Poker.

Also, I came in 4th at Jetset. It was a point tourney though.

I have place 1st once at Pokerhost, 4th there as well. 7th at Noble , 10th at one wich just missed me for making money. Then 19th for one of those seat tourneys to make the next level for wsop. Other than that my goal for now is to at least make it half way through the tourney of combatants. This way you've beaten most of the rag card players and now can play most people who know how to play.

Three firsts at PokerHost, one at Bet365, several for points at Jetset and one at Noble (the latest Cardschat one, weehaa). Finish in the qualifying bunch on UB and Jetset on a semi-regular basis.

Really good practise, both dealing with the "all in bunch" and the hard play later in a tournament.

my best was 2nd in a royal vegas freeroll 5,000 people. Other places have been 3,4,6 and 8th..some more than once.
* the Royal Vegas one was really funny..got down to 40 chips and came back to take second place..lesson learned never give up:icon_tong

Did a $5 +.50 tourney at Ultimate bet a while back - placed 5th and received $120 after all the rebuys .. then I proceeded to the $5 tables where I gave it back to start again :afraid:

So far I don't even have a roll... so I am forced to play freerolls. So far my best finish was 5th. Places paid were 1st - 4th... so I kinda got screwed on that. But IT WAS WORTH IT. To be at the final table. The thrill of knowing that every hand has more importance. The attention you get from other players curious of the action taking place. The exchange of comments. It becomes almost like a duel, where every moment could be our last. Living on the edge of defeat of victory is so exciting

I've won a lot of 1-table & 2-table sng's, but that probably doesn't count. I beat out 250 players to win a $20 multitable tourney at pokerstars last year that allowed me to play low-limit for free for quite a while. In a mega multi-table tournament, my best finish is making the final table out of 2200 in a qualifier at PokerStars that earned a seat in the Sunday afternoon $300,000 guaranteed. Finished well out of the big money in that one, though.

Best finish here was 6th and I got beat by some great players from cardschat. I have finished in the top 100 out of 2500 at UB quite a few times.

got 9th out of 2500 in a wsop qualifier at absolute yesterday.......1-9 all get the same prize and it was 4 am so as soon as i made the final table i tossed it all in on pocket 8s and said im goin to the top or im goin to bed.......ummmm well at least I got some sleep

finished in the money at a bunch of freerolls at noble, then took the 40 odd dollars and started playing low buy-in tournies. Won twice so far in $3 buy in, for $140 and $120. Feels nice to have a $400 bankroll having not deposited a cent. I dont even consider freerolls poker anymore, unless maybe the final table... maybe

Best tourney finish

Well I have won enough sit-n-gos, but for the multi-tables tourneys. up until today is was 6th out of 1000 3 times. None for money though. Today I changed that though in a freeroll. Only won 6.25 not exactly anything to crow over, but did get 3rd place and that is something because I've never placed that high, and going into the final table I was last out of 10. So I say I earned my 6.25 LOL.

A 4th and a 7th in their $3 freezeout at Royal Vegas. The 7th payed something like 12 bucks and the 4th payed 41.23. I usually do my best at 1 and 2 table SNG's. Trying to get a roll going.

my best finish was first in the noble freeroll....but money wise i took 3rd in the pacific poker freeroll to get into the 30000k prize pool and took 58th to get 120 bucks

the best i ever did was on Royal Vegas Freeroll i won it, this was before 10 million people played in it, i have also been two 4 final tables, freerolls and buy in tournament
