Is this the beginning of the end for Party Poker ?

Got a message this week from my rakeback site saying that the owners of party poker have said that poker is not a
priority with them.
The rakeback site says it will no longer be dealing with Party Poker.
I used to really like Party poker until they stopped chat and stopped allowing poker aids.
Now I think with this announcement this is quite possibly the beginning of the end.
The same has happened with william hill poker, they are only interested in slots and casino, you don't
even get points now for playing poker and all their promotions are dead. I guess over time more sites will
do the same which is very sad.

Wow, that's heartbreaking if the rumour is true. When Rob Yong was the face of partypoker he really made me believe that they were looking out for the future of the game for pros in every sense.

Imo it does not mean too much since pokersites end and change deals constantly. Rakeback is already part of the vip programm on party so im not surprised they would ditch a rakeback affiliate. Did u get more/extra rakeback with this affiliate?

This was probably just another way of saying it was a "business decision."

I have not heard of it, but partypoker is one of the best poker rooms in the world, I like it a lot, I hope they continue for many more years.

I played a bit of poker on there many years ago because I played backgammon on there (partygammon). Does partygammon still exist? I remember making a little bit on there playing backgammon and then losing most of it on the cash poker tables.

I get what you mean the amount of players in the cash games seem really low from what they used to be. Looks like the tournaments still get a few players though

If a site leaves a certain market u have a certain timeline to cashout ur funds.

u are most likely too late years later, that money is gone and they dont even comminicate anymore with markets where they dont provide services.

But i would just try again or hit them up on some social network like twitter for example to see whats their definite answer to this.

I used to play alot of cash at Party Poker, but this past year, my sessions there have been few and far between. Things just dont seem the same there, I cannot even explain why, but I think I'm going to cash out my balance there, uninstall and never go back.
William Hill have frozen my account, not the first time either. Iv'e not even bothered yet to email them to ask why, there is only about 25 quid in my balance, but the traffic on that site is so low, it is hard to find a decent game. Another site that I probably wont miss, although I'm now reminded about them, and 25 quid is 25 quid, maybe I put it on Everton to beat Man U this weekend 😁

Well Party Poker (Ontario) is a ghost town and not promoted at all it seems - thanks mostly to the province's regulations I'm sure...sad really!

party poker stagnated and from my perspective it fell in level, it was my favorite site along with 888poker but today I think it no longer competes well with any other poker site, I think that the poker site is in decline and not I see that they are looking to improve something

When Partypoker stopped business with a bunch of European countries earlier this year (Feb.?), I too thought "I'm just going to withdraw all of it!"
I kept a couple hundred on there, ran it up to $850. Then took almost all of it off, leaving only $1.40 thinking I was done.
Fastforward a few CC freerolls, & then FastForward to the FastForward cash tables and once again I'm up over $750.

Yes traffic is much lower than other sites but if you get on there at the right time of day, the tables have a lot more action vs. other sites (imo)
The CC freerolls on there are the best CC games by far (imo)
