Be wary of poker room bonuses, always read the Terms & Conditions

I have received some tickets or bonuses , but until now I had no problem with these when I asked for a withdrawal . When I get a bonus , even freeroll money or ticket , I always want to know if I am able to play enough money and contribute this earned or gifted money in rake , either they have asked it or not

If they give you a bonus , you do not clear the playthrough requirements and they take back the bonus , it's ok . It's their money But if they do not approve withdrawals until you clear the bonus , that's not good , sad or even scam imho

I noticed party poker after the new update no longer has any promo auto filled in the bonus section.

It also requires you to click the bonus option, and a new drop down menu appears.

This is really good news, I am hoping Party realized, what they are doing, bare minimum, appears to be fraudulent, and in all honest, is probably fraudulent.

The best example I have come up with is, could I email out a bunch of people, and say, "If you send me $100, I will send you $100."

Then put in small font, or some obscure place in the email, terms and conditions may apply.

And then open a website domain, and put in the "ToS', you must mow my lawn for 2 years to get the $100.

Now obviously, if I did that, and local law enforcement was made aware, I would be arrested (rightfully so), as I am running basically a scam.

This scenario, is parallel to what Party Poker has done. It is a scam, and they probably could get in a lot of trouble for it if someone followed the proper channels and made a complaint (as I was in the process of doing).

Anyways, looks like they fixed it, and won't auto fill misleading promo's anymore. Hopefully going forward, they will put all their promo's, in the "promo section", where they belong, and where the terms are actually clearly described.
