I wanted to see if Americas Cardroom is a good room to play.

I've read some bad reviews here but is it really a bad room?

What are some key pros and cons about this room?

I have access to few places that I want to play. I have not fully explored it, but I have enjoyed it so far. It is intuitive for someone like me who is not fully up on playing online. There is little in the way of chat so far, but that is not difficult. The stats are even easy to read and understand quickly. I have had a little success there, but I am starting slow. The entire situation is good for me as is. Now, as I progress, I may think differently. But, I like it better than others I have tried.

I've been playing at ACR since January and have really enjoyed it. I especially like how most of their tournaments are re-entry ones.

I've tried it once, I didn't like the interface, or maybe I'm so used to play at Pokerstars.
Tournament wise, they are pretty similar. So I ended up playing at Pokerstars.

I think this is a good and reliable site. So far I have not had any problems with this site. And I hope in the future there will be no problems.

The biggest con is the RNG without a doubt. Leans heavily towards the chip stacks in the tourneys. I was just in a tourney where the smaller pp won 5 times in a row and all 5 times they had the larger chip stack. There are plenty of freerolls there, I would suggest playing a lot of those before considering making a deposit.
Other cons: No ability to show cards, can't see the last hand that knocks you out of a tournament, and no live support.
Pros: Graphics aren't bad, good selection of games, plenty of freerolls.

I like ACR but I find it sketchy how they make you take out your money using Bitcoin and there are bots on the micro stakes. I seen a guy with 180$ in a 1/2cent table and was like wtf lol. And then I said, "say something in chat or I'm reporting you for being a bot", and the user immediately sat out and didn't play any more hands.

Over this last year, I have probably spent more time on ACR than any other site. Built a bankroll from scratch without a deposit. A year in I have still not deposited. That could be taken as a positive or negative but the reality is various factors make me hesitate.

I enjoy it for what it is but find I can only take it seriously to a degree...

The thing that i hate the worst about acr,is that they dont kick out sit outs after a certain period.They are there till they blind out,or keep winning hands.And for sure they do win alot of hands in show downs.
