I don't think there software can handle a 5k person tournament. Maybe they weren't expecting this kind of traffic?

Ya thats what I was thinking as well... It's pretty much impossible for me 2 work the lobby right now... Don't think they were ready for this traffic hit, which if they actually want to compete with Bovada than it's really disappointing on their part that in a prime freeroll the server crashed lol

on twitter they just said, next week we will announce what will be done for this event and once it gets fixed we will let you guys know the new tourney we will offer instead of this one

They are not ready yet, they have much to invest in infrastructure, and also they need to fire all their customer reps and revamp their whole system to actually be a "prime" poker site, right now is just another site for lack of selection

I used to run it on my mac with something called Crossover, but now I used Fusion Vmware, (lets you run windows on your Mac), fusion ware is much more natively and lets you run the whole Windows OS for real in your Mac, while Crossover only lets you run Apps, but is not always compatible

Played in a few of these. Super cool for US players without good deposit options. Good marketing too because if I like it I'm thinking about migrating from Bovada. Worth a download and a try.

Up in the official ACR thread the Rep commented that they are still deciding on what to do about the tournament and they will make an announcement when they do.

Yes, they're still investigating. I guess they have more questions than answers at this point.

Okay....this is what I heard (just rumor). I guess there was a coup in the office over the overlay in the freebuy series. A fist fight broke out, whiskey bottles got broken over a few heads, an automatic weapon got pulled and all the equipment got sprayed with bullets. Three people are in the ICU and nothing will be resolved until they return to work.

Anybody else hear this too?
