I was playing All in or Fold on this famous site. I admit I enjoyed it at first but came to realize that it is becoming a game of chance 100% instead. They take away the skill factor on playing poker because they take away the play from good thinking players instead favoring much the recreational who wants to gamble. Taking rake much faster and that doesn't sound good to me. How about you? What do u think about this type of game on this famous site?

You mean PS? I think they are no fair and Equitable. I loosed 8 all ins with AA, against hands like... 46, 26... In a row... That could be possible in a legal game?

It can be fun like any casino, but what does poker have to do with it?

You can also see this game on GGPoker. I think it is difficult we can't make this game profitable in a long run. This game is just playing for fun. If I am a good player, I will not want to play this game seriously.

I played this game just once. Its not poker at all. I personally would not waste my time playing in these games.

I have tried push or fold cash games tables a few times, and I kind of enjoyed it at first. Its a way of chilling out, since there are no complicated decisions to make, and you can only lose a small amount of money at the time (relative to the blinds). Ideally it should be combined with listening to music and perhaps consuming alcohol.

It is however very unlikely, that you can find enough edge to beat the rake in the long run. So as others have commented, it should pretty much be considered a casino game. Its a bit like blackjack where, sure, some skill is involved, but in the long run the only winner is the house :)

It's good if you have time for just one hand! I don't like the model very much either, if the idea were applied in tournaments there would be at least a bigger space for decisions... But the current model is really ... "Dynamic".

Mathematics is a stubborn thing, but mathematics says that taking into account the rake, this discipline is not possible to play profitably.

I played it on GGPOKER the other day only because it was part of the daily missions.
Never again, no rewards are worth playing that stupid game.

In allin or fold it is huge rake, you should be a great player to win even small money. In addition not on ps you can see some teamplays it is very easy, and you will be dead in this game. I do not think thant anyone here should play it.

There are players who are specialists in these modalities and can make it profitable. But it is not advisable to play this at all. High risk

all in or fold dilemma

Ok so i am reading a bunch of really armature responses to its rigged aa lost to blah blah and its pure gambling... and all i have to say is wow... so no these are not pure crap shoots at all. yes they are alot more gamble heavy but. lets break a little of it down... now these tourney require one thing to be true to actually have some control and that is you need to find one good spot early that doubles you up or lets you become chip lead at your table... the reason is that your going to polarize things heavily... your going to basically sit and wait for really really good hands and only put it in with lets say ak aa and kk (aq in cutoff and better). your also going to call allins when button or sb shove your bb only with 10 10 and better. lower pp if the person is shoving these spots alot... now if these things happen then you should have much more control over what is happening.i hope this provides some help. ty

I don't know why would anyone want to play All in or fold buy-in tournaments. The only All in or fold tournaments I played were freerolls and even that was silly.

I don't understand the tournaments with 'all-in' formats because it's no strategy at all. I played this type of format once and I don't think I'll ever play it again, waste of money and I won't make that mistake again.

They are fast tournaments and it is normal to lose having the best hand preflop, that happens in all places and it is normal because of the game format, for fun they are I can not find another reason to play them:jd4::jd4::jd4::jd4:

All in or Fold Mtts are the purest form of an ICM test, Its completely solved and all you have to do is practice with something like sngwiz or icmizer. I do not think any other format lends itself so well to multitabling.

I find it more like a lottery where your skills are of minimal importance compared to your luck.

AIOF Mtts are the exact opposite of a lottery or bingo, ICM tells you what to do every play.
