I am at Level 121 without being an Elite player. I have managed to reach at this level just by freerolls and investing that money in Casino, sports betting and poker.
Once I had won around $4200 in just 5 days. During those 5 days I managed to cross the level 75 to level 102. My volumes were gigantic and 888 did block my account asking for verification and documents and after being satisfied 888 reinstated my account again.

I am a happy player on 888. Recently I won a $16.5 big fish ticket via free spin and placed at 10th place wining $135. So Everythig is good.
Elite Status does give an Edge over normal players like Monthly Golden Spin etc but you need to be a great rake generator for this.

The present is a cash "bonus".

It's not actual cash that can be withdrawn, but it's the next best thing.
This bonus can be used to play poker or casino games, but in the casino all winnings get added to the bonus until it is cleared, but in poker any winnings above the original bonus amount is cleared as real cash as you play, but only after you leave the table.
Say your bonus is $5 and you play a cash game and get it up to $8 then leave the table, your bonus is still $5, but your real money bankroll will have added $3. If you get it to $8 and don't leave the table then lose the $3 back you don't get anything.

The best way to do this bonus is to take a risk and try to increase the bonus in the casino. If you have a $5 bonus and get it to $10 in the casino then use it to play poker you will clear real cash every session you leave the table a winner as long as the bonus amount stays over $5. If it goes under $5 then when you win the winnings first go to the bonus amount until it is back to $5.
With these bonuses it's very important to keep the bonus over the original bonus amount so you aren't constantly playing just to get the bonus money back to the starting point.

ALl sops are related to rake generation. If you generate enough rake via Poker, Casino and Sports then 888 will be happy to put you in their Elite status.

I had elite status for two months then it was taken away at the end of December and I was leveling up every five days or so when I had the elite status. My conclusion is once mvp status is achieved too maintain it you must level up once everyday.

I came first, second, third many many times in tournaments with over 20000 players and so on. Lots of final tables, yet not an elite, lmao. Elite status is actually very useful.
There are tons of perks that come with Elite status...

There is the $15k monthly freeroll that usually has only about 1200 people entered.

You get your own personal rep., no need to go through their customer service, and you get quick and helpful service.

Your gold tokens are doubled when you complete a level. This adds up quickly. I'll complete another level tonight and I'll get 820 gold tokens.

You get a monthly Golden Spin where every spin wins something. My last spin was 2 days ago and I got a $25 cash bonus (my best in the 5 spins I've had so far was a $50 cash bonus).

I am not interested in the casino or sports bets so looks lie I will never achieve that status as I only play in the poker room. Shame they will not provide clarity on it. You would hope a poker elite status could be achieved through the poker either through enough rake or placing high in special tourneys (so elite s like a high ranked status) but 888 will not provide any confirmation on how it is awarded.

On 80+ and have spent a grand on the site. If I wanted to play games of chance though I wouldn't have bothered trying to learn poker. And it sounds above like you have to maintain a high level of spending to keep the status. The it's not worth aiming for it, either you play enough higher stakes and will generate enough rake or you won't.
