I just looked and you are right, they are 500 tokens now. I hope people bought a ticket at 50, if they aren't doing the challenges.

At 50 tokens ($0.50 value) tickets were excellent value as a min cash is probably going to be $2 with 1/3rd of the field paid and a chance for more if you make it past the bubble. At 500 tokens ($5 value), not so much.

Even that would be a losing proposition. I don't know about other countries, but here in canada the difference between the exchange rates for deposits vs. withdrawals at 888 would mean you lose 5% to 10% if you deposit then withdraw. It's one of the reasons I avoid depositing, especially as the exchange rate gets worse.

Yah It is a loosing way for any client of 888. 888 exchange rate is so weird that we are sure going to loose 8% on currency conversion.

I just now noticed that if you win free tickets on the spin like Big Fish or BLAST that they count towards the challenge of playing $20 worth of tourneys to earn a $20k ticket.
I played a $1 BLAST ticket I had last night and when I just checked my challenges it shows as 1/20 complete.

I considered trying to get a ticket from cash games, but I know I'm weak in those. I might have given it a shot at PLO Hi/Lo as I think you get credit for the win by winning either the high or low, but there's never anyone on those tables and you need 4 minimum.

I'm actually 11.1/20 on the tournament challenge as I used $9.50 worth of tournament tickets, the rest was from $0.10 BLAST games and a $1 tourney I entered.
I haven't decided if I should go for the other $8.90 in tourneys yet. I'm hoping I can win another $5.50 Big Fish ticket (or better) from the spin, which would make it easy.

Unbelievably streaky game, I had 1 stretch where I didn't cash in 11 straight games and another streak where I cashed in 8 in a row (6 wins). At my peak I was actually up over $2, but in the end I finished +$0.08. Lucky I had 5x $1 spins, 3 more than the odds say I should have hit. Nothing bigger than $1 though.

At least I have my ticket.

Those games are fast, but they were still spread out over 6 hours from the morning to early afternoon.
Luckily there was literally nothing else to do yesterday, everything was closed and we had the big family roast dinner the day before.

The best way to get the 20K freeroll ticket is to play the .10 blast games it will most likely be a break even result after two hundred games.
